Wholemeal sourdough bread with Vegemite, lettuce. Baked beans and marinaded tofu. Also a concoction I made from oats, soaked pepitas, various spices, smoke flavor and rice malt syrup, blended with gelled chia seeds and lightly cooked.

I made tofu today. Was rather time consuming, so unless I find a way to make a lot of it without buying more equipment and in less time, I'll probably stick with the store bought stuff.

With pasta, broccoli, onions (caramelized), garlic, soy sauce and my homemade Peri Peri sauce and some oil. After that I was still a little hungry so I polished off a wholegrain sourdough sandwich with tofu marinated in liquid smoke, soy sauce and medjool date sugar, along with more broccoli. Now I am full. :)

This morning's brekkie was a generous serving of homemade hash browns (somewhere in the neighborhood of 500-600 grams), and a thick paste made from soaked sunflower seeds blended with mustard and ketchup. Small serve of lettuce.

Today, we enjoyed turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, pumpkin pie and rolls. My mother can certainly cook ( must be in the McDonald genes. Her dad was a good cook, too).

Sounds like a curious combination. That mix with the seeds sounds good.

What day is "thanksgiving day" in the USA?

I think it's the Thursday before the last Friday in November. Usually that would be the last Thursday but if November 30 is a Thursday (as it is this year) then Thanksgiving is November 23.

It was good. I found that mixing in some soaked and/or sprouted seed to sauces is a good way to both thicken them and add lots of nutrition.

Last meal was toasted sourdough wheat/spelt/other grains, with Vegemite, lettuce, tomato.

Psalms 91 is right according to wikipedia. It's the fourth Thursday in November.
