That sounds really good MC

It tastes delicious. The rice is still cooking but I sampled the meat and sauce with vegetables and it is very nice indeed.

Potatoes cooked lightly in a little oil and spiced with turmeric, cayenne pepper, paprika, salt, black pepper. Together with soaked and cooked lentils, lettuce as a wrap for the two and a dipping sauce made of sriracha, sesame oil and tomato sauce.

Now: Rolled Oats with savory seasonings.

Earlier today I had 8 pieces of "wholemeal" toast with vegemite. Couldn't be bothered to make something. Some time later I started another meal then ditched it. Now I just polished off 4 corn on the cobs, 3 potatoes in a Teriyaki sauce with a little extra salt and pepper. And 2 more pieces of toast with vegemite. I calculated and I can see I've gotten 500% of my RDA for Thiamine alone just on the vegemite.

When I first got here I did not like it. It sort of grows on you after a while. I don't normally eat it but decided to today because I wanted to be lazy and get what it offers with no effort. :p

I prefer Promite. But it has sugar in it I think.

Vegetable & yeast based spreads. They are very salty. They are used sparingly. But they are tasty if you live in a hot climate where salt is quickly lost by perspiration.
