I think there's some rhetoric mixed in with it.

? WHERE did you ADDRESS the matter ?

Where you tried to conflate two stories into one:
It's a nice story, and certainly shock-worthy, but here's what's being missed (this is from the first link above):

Federal officials said the children were not actually lost, but their sponsors didn’t respond to phone calls checking on them. They emphasized that Office of Refugee Resettlement is no longer legally responsible for the children once they were placed in a sponsor’s custody.

I'll translate, since I read the actual government report from which this news is sourced - once the children are placed with sponsor families, ORR ends its legal involvement. There were follow-up checks that were done with some of the sponsor families - an attempt to learn the whereabouts of these children/families, and how they were doing. Some families either did not respond, or were unable to be contacted/whereabouts unknown. The government did not lose them.

As an example - if a child is adopted by a certain family, that child and family may well receive services from a local adoption agency to arrange placement, examine the home, interview the family, etc. There may also be transition services provided to assure the child and family have everything they need to function as a family. Eventually, though, that family will become independent - maybe even move to Alaska. Sometimes the adoption agencies might want to do a follow-up with them (after they've finished receiving services) - to ask about progress, ask if they need any assistance, etc. BUT, if the agency doesn't know they've moved to Alaska - has no contact info for them - all it means is they were unable to contact them. The agency did not lose them.

Jeez I hate conspiracy nonsense...

? WHO 'debunked it' ?

I debunked your attempt to conflate the stories.

I have no idea what bias you accuse Management of. Romanos has never posted in this thread and he is the manager of the site. So who exactly are you making an accusation toward?

Accusations ?

Never!

I came,
I heard,
I saw,
was alleged to be ~ unChristian
had opinion 'rubbished' by 'biased-respondents'
I wish, I had read the entire site history... BEFORE signing-in, again

I regret, showing my face here
I have learned _ that Christian sites (two now) are 'laced' with non-Christians
I may well have-to walk 'without-peers' for, the remainder of my days :prayer:

I place Mennasota on 'ignore' and felt the kickback from three others

I did not come here 'to fight'
but-rather ~to spend time with Christian folk
It has become-clear, that contention and self-righteousness
are ALWAYS at the forefront of, conversations

Humility, is absent from MANY threads

My 'door' has-been 'open' _
and 'visitors' have suggested
# that my house is in 'disarray' despite my-years
# that I have inadequate "FACTS"

This, is-not where I am made-to feel
'comfortable' / 'at-ease' / 'at-home' / with 'friends'

Your [own] stance, on 'immigration'
from South AMERICA (really chills, my bladder contents)
Morally, and-unless
you are descended of, the indigenous people's
more-ILLEGAL than the Mexicans, whose wanderings you-deplore
and to confirm that the ABDUCTION of the babies and young children
IS THE CORRECT-RESPONSE, to their having crossed THE RIVER
is so hypocritical, that I cannot further, wish to see more
and so, I must leave

Jesus said "Suffer the children to come unto me"
:prayer:

I am, out of here

No judgement there!

Unaccountable lawlwssness is NOT Christian...
It is NOT a feature of US Government...
We need to change the Law...
Democrats are blocking that effort...

Trump has stopped Obama's practices of enforcing the Law separating children from parents at the border...
It is a politicized issue in which truth has departed...
One political faction wants open borders...
The other wants secure borders...
America will decide...

Dave, I recall that you were the one to question the Christianity of the folks posting here. That you conveniently "deleted" that post does not erase it from memory.
If you are truly "out of here" you certainly have had your say enough times about it.

The left must have moved on to another topic to troll since updates concerning the illegal immigrant children are far and few between after Trump placed that new cease order and the one thing I did find is that more voters blame the parents. http://www.rasmussenreports.com/pub...e_parents_not_feds_for_border_children_crisis
"82% of Republicans and 56% of voters not affiliated with either major political party feel the parents are more to blame for breaking the law. But 60% of Democrats say the government is more to blame for enforcing the law."

Here is the problem I have I think that they should never have been seperated and as for the law by that line of reasoning it would have been wrong for women to demonstrate and protest not voting and slavery would still be legal. Sometimes laws should not be enforced as they are morally wrong or just plain wrong and mean spirited as well. It is in the way enforcement is carried out and why.

No one has said they take delight that children are separated. They've just pointed out the facts and that the government isn't the only one to blame. There are two sides to every story. Feel for both sides, just don't have empathy for only one.

Could be...but it is just as likely that it lived out its five day lifespan just like every other faux outrage that came before it. Maybe we should have a poll to see what is most likely to be the next one. Probably the upcoming Supreme Court nomination. Already the Dems are vehemently opposed to that person for planning to defy the Constitution--although they do not know who it will be. :Nooo:

That wasnt the tune when the Republicans did it. Personally I think government should govern, I am tired of both sides acting like children
