I was noticing the much beans! :empathy:
There's a real good, and then there's a not so much good, imho.Beans are good.
Baked beans, beans and hot dogs, as a side with scrapple/sausage ... Yum!
Kidney beans in chili, yes! I use both light and dark.
Green beans of all styles, yep. I even like 3bean salad from a jar...room temp, not ice cold.
Lima beans? I hated when i was a kid, Now, I can eat a whole bowlful loaded with butter, salt and pepper ... But they gotta be big Fordhook ones, not the Baby Limas, no.
And of course, in certain soups, yes.
But what I don't like is when beans get overused and/or mashed up .... Black bean paste, eww, ... and refried beans ... (RE?-fried?) ... Garbanzo beans (they SOUND like a party, they don't TASTE like one). They're chickpeas! The sneaks!
Beans. :=D: ..... Oooh! It's JellyBean season! I like the spiced ones.
