What are you eating? - Part 2

I had a piece of toast so I could take some medicine. I don't have much of an appetite right now.

My husband made bacon for breakfast!

In a few hours when I am hungry I plan to fry up some homemade carrot-sausages, have them in bread with ketchup, together with some hash browns and a few marinated artichoke hearts.

My carrot sausages, properly prepared, are similar in taste and texture to something one might find sold as "sausage", without the meat of course, and also without the carrot flavor.

Diced chicken, diced onion, Brussels sprouts, rice with seasoning and some chilli sauce.

For dinner we had leftover pork chops and Chinese food.

Tater tots and marinated artichoke hearts with a sweet and sour dipping sauce. Yum!

Ugh I had some really bad canned tortellini soup for dinner. so bad. I have like 20 cans of soup I bought for my recovery after surgery and couldn't stomach any of it really at the time so now I have to eat it before they expire.

We had smoked brats for dinner with mac and cheese and some green beans.

I had breakfast for dinner today:

Faux eggs - tofu scramble, with a touch of oil and finished off with Indian black salt (sulfer salt).
Wholemeal toast with maple syrup.

Sort of reminded me of the kind of meal I would eat at Denny's before I went vegan. Only thing missing was fakon.

I had a late breakfast of home baked fries, followed a little later by olives, marinated/grilled artichoke, almonds with a mustard dipping sauce and lettuce.

It's a bit of a hot day here in Australia and I just finished enjoying a cold coffee/cola drink I made with coffee beans, barley seeds, almond powder, sugar and cola concentrate, and a lot of ice.

Instant noodles with raw vegetables (broccoli, carrots and ginger root).

Only one meal a day for weight control reasons. Dinner can be anything we want in generous proportions. Fasting the rest of the time cranks up our metabolism.
