We do works to show God we love Him and to show our neighbor we love them. What's being taught by Michael is to do works so God will see you as deserving of being rewarded. He teaches you to look out for yourself, so you can get what is coming to you. Do what He says Scripture teaches and Jesus will say to you "depart from me, I never knew you."

Whosoever believeith on him...means just that. Adding to it is adding more than what the scripture is saying to you. Trust in the Lord to have eternal life, not yourself.

The sheep trust the shepherd and he keeps them in his fold.

This places man in God's Creation which He loves...

When man depends on his own works to have eternal life then it is with those miserable works that he is judged and no man but Jesus could do works perfectly.

Rely on Jesus' work, specifically the work of the cross where ALL your sins were forgiven. Believe in Him and you will have eternal life. It's so simple that little children understand this.

I've talked with Michael enough and read his threads starting with The GOAL, so yes, I'm very familiar with what Michael actually teaches. You should try getting familiar with what he actually teaches.

It is one thing to say we must do much for our Inheritance, our Salvation by God...

That if we do not do them, we will forsake it...

It is quite another to say that we EARN our salvation by doing these same things...

If you do not know the difference, I do not know how to extend the bridge...

Salvation cannot be earned by anything or anyone created...

God sets the terms: Repenting from and overcoming evil...

Christ did not EARN Salvation...

He IS Salvation...

He opened the Way for us...

Christ IS the Way...
