However, you keep avoiding the evil of the Russian Orthodox Church as it sleeps with the Russian government. Why do you run from that evil, Arsenios? Can you, an avowed former atheist, not see how partnering with Soviet rulers cannot be a good thing for a church denomination? The Russian Orthodox Church cannot reach the people with the gospel. They see the power of Christ in the Baptist churches and see God expanding the evangelical reach while the Russian Orthodox Church gets weaker. So...sleep with the government and you can, once again, control the masses and force the true church underground.
