I believe that living to age 70 was not so easy in Daniel's time and that reaching 80 was rare indeed. To die at 70 now is considered young and many reach 80. In Australia the average life expectancy is 81.5 for men and 83.5 for women and very few of those who live to that age are vegan.

Didn't answer the question, nor address the points. But of course, this is typical of how you respond. It isn't just "vegan", bright one. Technically you can be vegan and just eat white bread. And get very very sick.

DUH.

Daniel's diet was vegetarian because the kings meals included flesh from animals sacrificed to idols. Daniel and his friend ate meat in Judah before they were taken captive. Jesus ate fish and at Passover he would eat lamb/sheep meat.

The point you aren't getting from Daniel's diet is NOT that it was Vegetarian/Vegan - but that it ONLY INCLUDED PULSE and water. Ie: A grain, seed, legume, nut - that would SPROUT - BRING FORTH LIFE when soaked/planted in the ground. Pulse, and water.

The result of this diet - was health - according to the Book of Daniel.

Do you believe it, or not? Yes or no? Cmon "christian" - answer!

I do not believe the construction you placed on Daniel's food.

You do not believe the following. I'm not surprised. You're one of those doubters - like the people of Babylon in the story.

Daniel 1:12. 1:16

Does it enrage you that I have just shoved that fact into your face?

If it were a fact I'd thank you but it is not a fact. There is no mention of sprouts and no teaching that veganism or vegetarianism is the source of health.

Oh, but it is a fact, and you aren't about to thank me. Your hard headed stubborness and resulting stupidity is being displayed right here for the whole world to see.

The only things Daniel and his men could eat were things that were sown - that bring forth life. That is what the Hebrew word means. And the only thing they could drink was water.

Pro tip for the super deceived - when you plant a seed in soil with water it sprouts - it becomes a living thing. If you aren't sure what the word "Vegetable" means and originally meant - then here you go:

http://www.etymonline.com/word/vegetable

It is from the plant kingdom

and it is living.

In honor of the prophet Daniel and his diet my last meal was:

Sprouted Brown Rice
Tomato
Garlic
Broccoli
Lettuce
Avocado
Onion

All raw ingredients, including the sprouted rice. The only thing I did add was salt. Rather chewy but not bad.

I think I'll try a fried egg on toast for lunch. I want something savoury.

Besan (aka Gram flour), sprouted/dried/milled, formed with water and oil and cooked into cakes, with lettuce and a honey/soy/mustard dipping sauce.

There's some chicken defrosting in my fridge. I plan to cook it with Satay sauce, chick peas, and diced tomatoes. And then I'll serve it with rice, God willing. That will be tomorrow I think. Defrosting takes time.

White Basmati rice with sauce. Since I didn't have any more sprouted brown I decided to use this and include a fair amount of pre-soaked and blended pepitas and sunflower seeds in it, and some leftover Besan, along with rice brain oil to bump up the overall nutrients. Also caramelized onion, broccoli, garlic, mushrooms, honey, soy and a few other spices.

Pretty much the same as in post 335, minus the broccoli, garlic and Cumin seed this time, and with raw onion. The Brown rice has also started to sprout.

I found this meal gave me an insane amount of energy and I have both yard work and house work to catch up on.

Exercise kills cells!

Avoid it.
