Smelling garlic. AGAIN with the garlic. I woke up nauseated yesterday because of whatever was being cooked with garlic. It must be 'leftover' time

I like garlic and like the way it smells in cooking :p

Still coughing. 10 days now.

I suspect that if I pray for your coughing to cease it will but it may take some days yet :)

Grant happiness and grace to sister Lämmchen and always guide and teach her with gentleness and great love, Lord.

If you've got severe allergies, I wouldn't be surprised if it's connected. Sometimes my allergies will have me down for a few days if they get a strong enough foothold. About a month ago it felt like a flu bug for a couple of days, but was from severe allergies that just sort of took over.

We had our windows opened a couple weeks ago so it most likely was from that. The neighbors have two cottonwood trees that I'm highly allergic to and I really hope they cut them down!

Somewhere in Genesis God saw that the Cottonwood was good. Maybe the tree pollen count was down that day and he didn't notice?
Hmmm... Did Jesus have allergies?

Pet peeve of the day #1 - If I go to the national coffee joint that's almost a Canadian institution in its own right, and ask for a coffee with three cream, PLEASE put the cream in the coffee instead of giving me creamers to put in myself. Isn't that you're being paid for?
(actually, that's #2, #1 was the guy in the pink Cadillac who passed me on the right because his lane was ending... :D)

Creamer? Shouldn't they be putting cream in?

Trying to figure out how to pull part of a roof support apart from the inside, then rebuild it without it all collapsing on my head.

Same thing - cream in the little plastic 'capsules'

Oh! I thought you meant the powder that people use to make their "black" coffee become merely "brown" or even "white" depending on the amount of said powder added to the coffee.

I started on my roof supports, and it looks like an easier job than I expected. Sadly I didn't last very long before the heat became too much, it was nearly 120 degrees in the crawl space. It's hard to work when you need protective glasses to run a circular saw but they mist up so you can't see anything. It's also not much fun being covered in sawdust when also bathed in sweat, and trying to work without dripping sweat into the power tools.
