If I go to the national coffee joint that's almost a Canadian institution in its own right, and ask for a coffee with three cream, PLEASE put the cream in the coffee instead of giving me creamers to put in myself.
They're getting better. They got the cream this time, but added sugar...
See, this is why I like Starbucks :D

The second shelving unit was much easier to remove than the first, it came out intact within little over an hour. Then I got some more wall pulled down. Soon I'm going to be able to at least start the rebuilding phase, with added insulation.

I'm stripping beds and cleaning now that my sister, niece and her friend left this morning to return home.

I hate them both, and Starbucks is twice as expensive. I can make better coffee.

Pet peeve of the day #1 - If I go to the national coffee joint that's almost a Canadian institution in its own right, and ask for a coffee with three cream, PLEASE put the cream in the coffee instead of giving me creamers to put in myself. Isn't that you're being paid for?
(actually, that's #2, #1 was the guy in the pink Cadillac who passed me on the right because his lane was ending... :D)

Please don't call Tim Horton's a Canadian institution. You're just buying into their corporate advertising scheme. They have mediocre coffee, at best. Anyone with a few coffee beans and a grinder can make better coffee, and at a fraction of the cost. (That goes for Starbucks as well.)

Starbucks seem to have pushed the line that dark coffee is sophisticated and therefore darker is more sophisticated, then hawked low grade coffee roasted into oblivion and buried under a tidal wave of milk. If you want a lifestyle statement go to Charbucks; if you want coffee go elsewhere.

I rather lost interest this year once Cavendish crashed out and Sagan got disqualified. I like Froome but just lately it seems like the race is little more than seeing how long it takes before he takes the yellow jersey and then keeps it all the way to Paris.

I haven't watched any of the Tour de France this year. I try to catch a bit of it each year since I love cycling.

Surprising that even without Cavendish, Sagan or Kittel in the running Andre Greipel still couldn't pull off a win on the Champs Elysses

Wet, windy and chill in Melbourne area today...I'll be staying inside, mostly.

Downloaded a book on spices used in a variety of different sausages - the spice and it's amount per weight in meat. Since I'm making more of an effort to keep meat to a minimum, I'm going to try out a number of different combos with meat alternatives that keep the texture similar. I am confident I can create a few different types for myself that will shame the pricey vegan stuff sold at supermarkets both in taste and in nutrition.

Going to go work in the yard this morning if it isn't too wet. It rained yesterday for a first time in a week or two

I was hoping to spray the bushes out front but it looks like more rain this morning. We have aphids and they've ruined one of my favorite bushes!
