Gathering and documenting certain information for possible future use against a thorn in my side.

In addition to those things I'm brushing up on my video making skills. The software that I use is powerful, but some things are not obvious - at least - they are not obvious to me. Like slowing down and speeding up video synced with sound - at present I'm having to use workarounds to achieve this effect.

I'm doing secret stuff.

*looks left* *looks right*

The Cypher key is "blah"

The Cypher text is: blah blah blah blah blah blah blah.

If you can figure this out, I will tip my hat to you. In addition, you will have gained in rank to the level of super sleuth - right up there with the dipstick dairy farmer on the South coast of the UK who just loves to
pretend he knows stuff.

looollllllllzzz.

The first project was just to get used to it and how it works. I gather table saws are among the more dangerous tools in a workshop, and I know a guy who lost the ends of two fingers in a table saw accident.

My initial project was just to trim some wood to size and make a little doodad to hold a paper target so I can adjust the sights on my rifle. Before long I'm expecting to be cutting out more and more things, from framing for pictures to framing for the work I need to on my roof.

I'm relaxing. Hoping I get my voice back now that I'm done being sick or whatever it was that made me cough for a month!

Mostly lazy day today. Church this morning, then a quick bit of admin work on the laptop, then went into the woods where a friend has a cabin. Before we knew it five hours had passed and it was time to head home. All in all a good day.

That sure can take a toll, can't it?

Put the finishing touches on the group curriculum I'd been working on. We'll see if it passes muster or not.

I really feel bad for the people who aren't healthy and get whatever it was I had. I don't think they would fare well. At least I'm fortunate to be able to sleep in if need be and that's a great feeling.

I bet you're glad to have it completed...getting something accomplished can be satisfying. Did you celebrate?

Rethinking my target holder. My air rifle is putting pellets right through it.

That helps, I'm sure. Of course you'll need to rest up from all the crazy partying I'm sure you did with family, too ;)

It does feel good. I need to take some training in curriculum development pretty badly, though. I probably could have gone through it a lot quicker that way. Don't know how I'll 'celebrate' though. I'll wait on word of the other job, and I have a birthday coming up (yikes!), so maybe $20 at the casino. I go all out, I'll tell ya...

Will stretches help your back or does rest work better for you?

I bought a new clock. I was at an estate auction. Actually I bought two clocks, on the basis I got them both for less than I expected to have to pay for one of them.

Lazy day.

I'm reading forums, and laughing - a lot. Especially at one particular person. It is not often that one gets to see a person hang themselves so effectively, have it be hidden to many, and also to see them fighting to conceal their real motives - unsuccessfully. Of course, since it concerns me, it's all been documented. Little impish devil that I am.

Also finishing up some artwork that a little nagging voice is telling me to destroy. Sigh. It's among my best work in certain aspects - in being brazen and subtle at the same time. It's also - cold. The message is cold. I can come from a light mood, watch my creation and wind up feeling a shiver of cold run through my body. Destroying or publishing the art represents a choice, and the mere fact that I have serious reservations SHOULD be enough to stop me. But I have not yet destroyed this thing. Instead I have kept adding to it. It is a good thing, I think, that I very rarely read horror or watch horror anymore.

Eating soup.

Playing Bach. One particular prelude was giving me trouble for the longest time. Unfamiliar key - rarely do I play pieces in the key of C# much less do I improvise in it. Doing a chord analysis has helped me remember the piece better, instead of relying solely on finger and sound memory.
