The Purification of sin is Justification from it !

Heb 1:3

3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:

The guilt of sin is removed by Justification, because its the declaring of one Not Guilty. When Jesus Christ sat down at the Right Hand of the Majesty on High, it was after completing for those He died for, the purging or purification of their sins. This word purged is the greek word katharismos and means:

cleansing, purification, a ritual purgation or washing
A.
of the washing of the Jews before and after their meals

B.
of levitical purification of women after childbirth

C.
a cleansing from the guilt of sins wrought by the expiatory sacrifice of Christ

Its a cleansing from the Guilt [before God's Law and Justice] of our sins, by the Sacrifice of Himself on our behalf, if He died for us.

And this means that those He did die for have no guilt of sin before God's Eye of Justice, they are without sin's guilt before Him, and therefore they are faultless, unblameable before Him , Yes Justified. That's why it says this Rom 4:25

25 Who was delivered for[because of] our offences, and was raised again for[because of] our justification.

When He was Raised, it was living proof that Purification of our sins before God's Law and Justice, the guilt removed for them, was successful, and consequently they are Justified from the penalty and guilt of them.

This is not accomplished by their believing, but by what Christ did, and then rested from.

Those Christ died for are born into this world as depraved sinners, ungodly as can be, yet, because of Christ's Purging their sins and now sitting down next to the Majesty on High, They are Justified, and Unblameable before God. Now I know the religionist cannot receive this Good News, But God's Elect shall receive it by God Given Faith from the New Birth ! 8

No. I think it was Michael Brown who came with a good rebuttal of that hyper grace teaching that you don't ever have to confess your sins and God sees you as holy, no matter what you do. He said read Revelation. God is not blind. He doesn't say oh sweethearts you are all so holy.
Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place—unless you repent.

You get a 100 percent holy spirit when you get reborn and then you have to obey God and say no to the flesh. Before one gets reborn, he doesn't even have a new heart yet, so he can't be 100 percent holy.

More on Remission of sins and Justification !

Lk 24:47

And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

Jesus says that in His Name, Repentance and Remission of sins should be preached to all nations.

This is because there are men and women in all nations for whom Christ secured for them that great blessing. How did He do that ? Matt 26:28

For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

Its because His Blood was shed for them, and through that Blood, the Blood of the New Covenant, they have Remission of sins.

Now what does this mean ? The word remission is the greek word aphesis and means:

I.release from bondage or imprisonment

II.forgiveness or pardon, of sins (letting them go as if they had never been committed), remission of the penalty

As you can see it means forgiveness or pardon of sins. Its translated forgiveness 6 times in the NT to include here Eph 1:7

In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

That redemption through His Blood points back to Matt 26:28, the Blood of the New Covenant or Testament for many !

Now this Remission of sins here by the blood of Christ is first and foremost to be considered judicially or it is a Judicial or Legal act of God, an acquittal before the Court of God's Law and Justice . It means a setting free from the charge of an offense by verdict, sentence, or other legal process

Also the persons so acquitted are to be announced Vindicated or Justified ! Their persons are declared Justified, their sins forgiven, and acquitted from all charges Rom 8:33

33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.

The clear implication is that God has acquitted them, who else can lay any charge against them, because God has Acquitted or Justified them !

God has acquitted and Vindicated from all condemnation, and guilt all for whom Christ has died Rom 8:34

34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

His dying being also the shedding of His Blood Matt 26:28

28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

This Blood has made in the Sight of God for them[The Many] a plenteous Satisfaction to His Law and Justice !

And Christ did it for them in His Name, because He did it as their Surety Representative, all He Suffered of the Law and Justice of God, was on their behalf and in their place !

So this Remission of sins has legally, and judicially laid to their account, even when they themselves know nothing of it, and even while they are dead in trespasses and sins, and unbelief !

So they're justified already, even when they haven't repented. Then I can stay in bed and don't have to preach to them that they have to repent. I also don't have to pray that they get saved. I can go sleep, eat chips and watch tv and bury my gift in the ground, because God only saves a few elect and mows where He didnt sow.
It's like when your dad puts 10.000 on your bank account. As long as you don't even know that you have a bank account or a dad or don't believe he'd do such a thing, so you don't check, it will do you no good.

That would be the logical conclusion, yes. And we can presumably also ignore the words of Jesus himself as given to his Apostles when he told them to go into the world, make converts, and baptize them.

Lutherans (the OP isn't Lutheran, but just wanted to add this bit here) believe in Objective Justification and Subjective Justification.

Objectively we are justified by the cross....before we were born it happened. But we don't benefit from it until...
Subjectively we're given faith to grasp hold of that justification (by grace through faith for salvation).

It's like a King declaring his subjects free, but they can't benefit it until they're actually told about it and then can live their lives in that freedom.

People arent Justified by their repenting, but by the Blood of Christ.

People arent Justified by their repenting, but by the Blood of Christ.
37 Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Men and brethren, what shall we do?”

38 Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the [k]remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.”

Again, its the blood of Christ that Justifies, not repentance. Rom 5:9

9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

I have been explaining the matter myself.
I realize that, but the post I recommended puts the matter succinctly and correctly.

You need to take account of what it explains instead of simply repeating your same version of the matter by which unrepentant sinners and unbelievers are nevertheless saved for no reason other than that God allegedly chose them.

Of course, post 326 isn't the only one. Other posters have tried to get through to you that the process isn't accomplished while the "elect" may not even know Christ!

Then Hitler would be in heaven, but for that there is the 'He only died for the elect', which is not true, because Hebrews 6, non elect who partook of the Spirit for a while:

For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, 5 and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, 6 [c]if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame.

And you can't just skip texts that say He died for all.

2 Corinthians 5:21: “He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”

It's the blood of the new covenant. If you don't go into a covenant with Him, it will not save and heal you.

However, that is not the issue. Even though you say you are "good with" the belief you've fashioned for yourself, would you nevertheless consent to addressing the real issue, either as it's been explained to you several times by different posters here or by the Bible itself and almost every Christian church??

That might be half of the issue, all right. Why doesn't the rest interest you? It takes up a lot of space in the New Testament.
