Hmmmm, I have some eggs and some vegetables and some vegetable stock and some spices and some sour cream. Maybe tonight will be a good time to cook them and have a kind of potato and vegetable salad with eggs

Ham with bone, navy berans some carrot and celery and water. Do mine i n slow cooker

My plan for dinner is -

• 2 hard boiled eggs
• 2 medium potatoes
• 2 small/medium carrots
• 1 large brown onion

cook the potatoes, carrots, and onion with vegetable stock powder seasoned and with a good amount of white pepper and a little water (two or three tablespoon fulls) to keep it steamy while cooking so the carrots do not shrivel
let the vegetables cool
add some sour cream and stir it through the vegetables
slice and add the hard boiled eggs
serve and eat. I think this ought to do two meals, tonight's dinner and tomorrow's breakfast.

Creamed cheese with sweetcorn relish and a packet of plain crisps, with coffee and meds.

Lentil soup with carrots and tomatoes, peanut butter and raspberry preserves on a slice of rye bread.

The last thing I had was salad: Iceberg lettuce, spring onion I have growing in my kitchen, broccoli, dried bread crumbs and a sauce I whipped up using various spices, oil, and a dash of apple cider vinegar. And salt.

I am seeing less and less use for my fridge since making my own sauces and growing/drying vegetables. A freezer I need - but the fridge is getting less and less necessary. There is hardly anything in it.
