I'm only into this at 7 minutes and already there is a problem where this guy seems to deny that Jesus is God when he says that Jesus' will is not God's will. After hearing that I refuse to go any further since if he denies the trinity then he's not worth listening to at all.

Thanks for at least attempting to listen. He is one of the greatest Bible teachers alive today.

Addressing briefly what you disagree with...

Jesus, Himself, agrees with the brother, as we find in John's Gospel, where the Son tells us -

"For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me." - John 6:38

We see two separate "wills" here. This is not a new teaching. We first find it in the very Words of Jesus, Himself.

And ultimately in the Garden, we find Jesus' own will, which is separate from God's, came into play probably more than ever -

"He went a little farther and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, “O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will.” - Matt 26:39

The modern hypothesis of a "co-existent, co-eternal, co-equal" Godhead unfortunately has to ignore or disregard quite a few passages of Scripture, and nearly all that Jesus taught concerning His relationship with the Father.

Truthfully, part of the "Good News" is that Jesus was "obedient" to God, "even to death on a cross", and became the "Firstborn from the dead", the "Firstborn among many brothers", the "Firstborn of creation", that convergence of the spirit and physical realms! Oh Glory! :ange06:

The preacher mistakenly thinks that Jesus and God disagree...they do not.

The heavenly Father and Logos, the Word with God, who came through the incarnation as Jesus Christ the Son of God, as God in their unity, have distinct wills while always, as one Being, are always in agreement. Jesus learned obedience with remaining in agreement.
