Moon - starring Sam Roxwell. For an amazingly modern sci fi theme and outstanding cinematics, this movie is guaranteed to tickle your space awe while keeping it realistic to where we are going in the space age. Basically about a man working a contract alone on the moon and finds out that they have been cloning him and erasing his memory to work longer, but it gets better...

Shutter Island with Leonardo De Caprio, such an amazing twist in the end you have to watch it again because the second time is even better, if you are in to conspiracy theories like myself you will fall in love with this film

TUT, if you are into ancient Egyptian culture and drama this is a three part tv series that you can really sink into, its no doubt a movie you can buy as a dvd but its separated into three parts (3 dvds in one set) each about an hour long. I love this movie because it reflects the religious beliefs of the people at that time. Tut -a 19 year old fights off the powers by his authority, the false profit, the sargent and his personal adviser all who are taking advantage to rule, are eventually confronted to better serve his people. Fictional by dramatic adaptation but historical none the less.

Idiocracy - I absolutely love this comedy and its a bit of a wake up call to humanity as well. A militant chronologically slips a bit further than expected into the future where stupidity has reigned over common sense, they have been completely absorbed into advertisement and sold out to everything you can imagine to be wrong, it really makes you wonder how worse off we could be in the near future. Luke Wilson does an outstanding comedic performance.

Believing ideas not mainstream aren't required to enjoy Shutter Island, it's worth the watch.

Return of the King - the 1980 cartoon/animated film by Rankin/Bass and TopCraft.

Besides the animated/cartoon version of "The Hobbit" which I saw when I was in like 3rd grade, this was my first introduction to the Lord of the Rings.
I greatly enjoy the modern films by Peter Jackson and feel that overall they do an excellent job in so many ways, and are far superior to previous attempts like this film - however - there are elements to this film that are missed in the more modern movies, truer to the ideas of the books in some ways - and in those ways better serve the story.

This film is heart warming and a very good introduction for young children.

Dolores Claiborne (1995 film)

Drama/psychological thriller. Interesting story, good acting and touches the heart. There are a handful of filmsEdit:Books by Stephen King that translate well into a film, and this is one of them in my view.

Thor: Ragnarok

Because Loki is my favorite superhero

This movie was really funny even though it was 2 hours long. I needed a good laugh and this one even had a happy ending...did I just do a spoiler? sorry.

I saw The Fighter today on Netflix. It's good if you like sports movies. Mark Wahlberg is in it. It's about a boxer and his drug addicted older brother who was also a boxer.

Does it have a happy ending? I don't want to see any movies where dogs die.

The Invitation (2015). It's classed as a horror film but there's not much of that in it. It's more of a psychological thriller.
