Breaking Bad (series)

This is a treat on so many levels. The story is interesting, the acting good, the psychology believable.

A few documentaries I've watched recently that I found worth watching.

Hellstorm (2015) Thomas Goodrich, Kyle Hunt

Documentary covers aspects of WWII, in particular the fate of the German people that is unique in that it is nearly entirely missing from mainstream war documentaries and popular movies.

The Last Days Of The Big Lie (2009) - Eric Hunt

A controversial documentary that debunks many of the facts presented in the Oscar winning Holocaust themed documentary The Last Days, produced by Steven Spielberg. Throughout the film, its director/narrator exposes what's real and what's not in that documentary and analyzing the interviews featured in it.

I created this 12 minute trailer to promote the 6 hour documentary that might otherwise be missed.

Don’t know if it’s been mentioned or not but my church showed some clips of The Parent Trap today (the remake). Our message was what the movie is about, at its core….forgiveness.
I really like that movie.

My dad knew the German one, das doppelte Lottchen. I saw it lately. I liked the 2 American versions too.

Captains Courageous with Spencer Tracy

An old black & white film movie, excellent principles for young boys.

A wealthy spoiled young boy falls overboard from a ship liner and is picked up by a fishing scooner under sail. The boy tries to exert his wealthy status to get the captain to take him back to port, but the captain refuses, since his scooner and crew are at sea catching fish for their lively hood. The young boy is forced to 'grow up' fast, and forms a bond with the crew which provides long lasting life lessons, some that are very difficult yet necessary.

October Sky, because it gave me a sense of wonder. It was a journey of discovery and what one can produce through not giving up in the face of adversity. A coal miner's son, against his father's wishes, started developing rockets back in the '50s.
He was inspired by the launch of Sputnik 1 and went on to become a NASA engineer. It's a true movie. Every now and then I watch it. I've lost track of how many times.
