Yes, The drift is that whatever I write is wasted time on my part.

He also spoke of that Kingdom as being like a mustard seed: “What is the kingdom of God like? And to what shall I compare it? It is like a grain of mustard seed that a man took and sowed in his garden, and it grew and became a tree, and the birds of the air made nests in its branches.” (Luke 13:18-19) This is not literally possible, however. Jesus was simply making a point.
I dont know, sounds like growth to me

In the parable, yes. But mustard seeds and plants do not, cannot, grow into trees! So we know that the story is not to be taken literally.

”...And to what shall I compare it? It is like a grain of mustard seed that a man took and sowed in his garden, and it grew and became a tree, and the birds of the air made nests in its branches .”(Luke 13:18-19)

I think what Jesus meant is that the faith should be qualitative not quantitative.
IOW it’s not how big your faith is ; rather it’s how strong it is. Small seed is a strong tree.

This kind of overly coy reply doesn't help any discussion IMO.

Thank-you...

Would it help if I were to write: "Only God ALONE can save you."?

We all know that God is the cause of our salvation;

That is one reason I did not write that God is the Cause of our Salvation...

Permit me to rephrase for clarity...

"God Alone is your Savior..."

Nothing you do can save you...
Nothing you believe...
No work...
No repentance...

God Alone is your Savior...

we haven't been talking about that, let alone challenging it.

Does someone here think that God provides us the means of Salvation??

The issue concerns the means used by God to effectuate it.

Aaahhhhh..... So you want to talk about HOW God DOES the Saving?

I don't think anyone knows...

We know that if we respond to the Gospel with repentance, and make straight a Way for the Lord in our souls, that God will Justify us... And we know that if we respond to the Gospel with porneira, God will NOT Justify us... And we know that we are to struggle unto blood resisting sin, and to persevere to the end, and to work out our Salvation in fear and trembling to the end of our days...

What more is needed?

Mustard seeds do grow if planted in well watered and fertile soil...

Repentance with tears is a good thing for the humble humus of our scorched-earth souls...

The mustard seed of the Faith (of Christ) can sure grow into a tree with birds nesting in it...

We emerge from the Bapismal Waters of Regeneration as babes in Christ...

And we grow in Faith becoming ever more mature, perfecting in us the Gift God gave us...

We do NOT hide our Talent in the ground, but increase it by wise and shewd dealings...

Faith matures...

Or not...

Mustard seeds cannot grow into trees, Arsenios.

Gosh - I didn't know they could grow into actual botanical, bird nest bearing trees either...

So much for OUR theory, Albion...

I mean, how good is THAT!?

Now you've got me a-wondering if that big ol' tree is an actual cullinary cultivar!

The following is worth reading:

There is some controversy over whether Brassica Nigra is indeed the plant referenced in the biblical parable of the mustard tree. The most obvious controversy stems from the fact that black mustard is not actually a tree at all. It is a very large plant. The Bible indicates that birds nest in the mustard tree, which does not happen in black mustard. Some birds, however, do land on the plant to eat the seeds. Despite the controversy, black mustard is still widely considered the mustard tree of the Bible.
