It's abhorrent.

Donald and Jeff started child separation in April this year. It is a new policy, Jeff announced it.

Who is telling the truth?
DHS says this policy goes back to other presidents.

Obviously Jeff would not be announcing it if it was many years old already. But some people will swallow whatever story suits them best. The fact is that Jeff announced it this year and in November last year Donald and Jeff ran a test separation in El Paso Texas.

So...the DHS is lying when it presents what their policy is by law, which was created by Congress under another President and signed into law by that other President?
MC, you don't seem to understand the US legal system. Did the DHS lie in today's statement?

Jeff Sessions and Donald Trump created the Zero Tolerance policy, it is not a law, it is a policy about law enforcement. Facts are facts and the fact is that the zero tolerance policy is Donald's. Donald, through Jeff, ordered the criminal prosecution of parents and the consequent separation of parents from children. This is a matter of record. It is not opinion.

You are not answering my question. Is the DHS lying? Yes or no?

It's not even a meaningful question. The DHS has thousands of employees, to which one are you referring? If you mean the person in the video clip from a facebook page, yes she was lying.

Okay, so you don't believe that child trafficking is ever happening?

Yes, it happens, I also believe that this policy is immoral, hard hearted, and totally unreasonable. Children should be with their parents instead of inventing a bogey man that probably doesnt happen all that much in these situations.

That is an absurd 'question'. It's what I've seen done in countless threads to escalate a doubt into a vast conspiracy or a huge crime against truth. It's absurd, it is trolling.

You're avoiding.
Secretary of Homeland Security (DHS) spoke to Sheriff's around the country and shared what the DHS is doing when it separates children. Is Secretary Nielson lying? Yes or no?

You must understand that it is hard for reasonable people to sympathize with a POV that makes housing children in a school setting a worse crime than giving them to strangers on the sly.

And if you are not sufficiently up on recent history to even know anything about the latter issue, the rest of your message is a waste of time.

Since you seem to say you are up on it tell me how many children they have found with trafficers out of those spereated since this policy began and do you think children will not speak out and will cry to be with those who would do this?

Nice try, but I am not the one who needs to do a little work here.

It is the government's agents who take the children away from their parents after arresting the parents for entering the USA without valid entry papers. Their crime is lack of documentation.

God willing, the Cruz Bill will give our President the law needed to end this outcome...

We need a law to keep these families together...
And we need facilities on the border to hold them together until their case is ajudicated...

IF it is not blocked by Democratic Fillibuster...

The laws of the USA already allow the government to keep the families together. It is the policy of "zero tolerance" that is responsible for separating children from their parents.

The Executive Branch is guilty of enforcing the Law?

Was this Law not enforced under any previous Executive Branch?

Demonizing the Administration for enforcing the Law is a political ploy to demonize...

Let's join together and change bad Law...

Right now...

The Law requires children not to be held more than 20 days...

And the Appeal for Asylum takes more than 20 days...

Catch and release INTO the USA is NOT the policy of this President...

So we need to change the Law to keep families together in detention until their cases resolve...

Democrats seem unwilling to permit this...

We'll see...

Entry into the United States of America by Federal Law requires Federal authorization...

If you wish the USA not require such authorization, then elect people who will change that law...

In the mean time, support 3rd world ministries supporting the poor and adopting their orphans...

That is what most of us do in our concern for them...
