I believe both the earth and the spiritual realms are real.

Most 'gifts' we see today are certainly manifestations of the Evil One.

It's the greatest deception. How better to lead the faithful away than to disguise deception drawing them away as worship.

Look at what passes for tongues today. It's about as Biblical as the Quran.

You do understand that Allah translates to God don't you?

The Qur'an is pretty identical to the Torah and has many similarities to the new covenant. To base ones knowledge on the heresy or opinion of others is flawed.

Satan knows how to deceive the best of them though, so I really don't buy into if you were in tune business. Satan's had more practice and we still have sinful bodies that listen to him.

It states in the bible that Satan nor his demons will be able to skew the sight, or veer the path of the truly faithful under God. Don't think that will stop him from trying. Thankfully one can use the deception of Satan to cast Iight on his deception and single it out. In other words; the attempts of Satan to mislead can actually be used to discern right from wrong in those with utter Faith and guidance under God.

No I am not there yet but I do know that the spiritual realm is more real than this earthly realm and there is nothing that happens on earth that is not manifested in the spiritual first. Remember that there is war in the heavenlies and our battle is not with flesh and blood but spirit,

Our battle is with the wants of the flesh. Spirituality and the righteous direction there of is the negation of the physical. It is the principalities we fight though. It's just that these principalities seem to permiate from the flesh and wants and greed there of.

What verse please? I don't think that verse applies to gifts and recognizing if it's from God or Satan.

Not sure what verse. It states in more than one verse that the elect cannot be veered or lead astray. It also states that Satan will try more and more to lead the rightly guided away from God with every step they make towards God.

Basically, absolutely nothing can harm you or detour you if you are truly and wholly under the direction of God. Surely those things under evil persuasion are real and potent, but ultimately they are naught and of void and as such, worthless and futile in opposition to God.

Surely some here know of what verses I speak.

I do apologize as I have only been reading the new covenant for a few months and do not yet have the memory to recite or quote exact verses.

I ask that some might help me.

Not sure what verse. It states in more than one verse that the elect cannot be veered or lead astray.

The verse you speak of doesn't state at all that we cannot be veered or lead away. It does state that we cannot be snatched out of God's hand and there is a HUGE difference in meaning. John 10:28-30

You see, Satan cannot just take us, but we can choose to reject God and sometimes that doesn't happen all at once but little by little builds up until the person throws faith away completely.

It often speaks of a hastening or quickening of the life of the elect and the end time. Could you tell where it states deceived elect?

Indeed it implies extreme difficulty for those being tested or the elect. There is absolutely nothing that can harm the truly rightly guided though. It will be a beautiful trial and lesson with the utmost significance and submission under the direction of the One God, our Lord and the Lord of all, the merciful and all knowing.

Bill I love you brother but that verse does not say that the elect would be deceived. It really states the impossibility of the elect being deceived.

Matt.24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

I won't go into the reason I think it is impossible because the text does not say.
