That is Incorrect.
I was baptised in the holy ghost by Jesus.
He can actually do that you know.

He didn't need someone else to wash me clean He did it himself.

God's commandment for baptism is with water and the word. You're missing the biblical baptism.

People believe what they will, and they're usually entirely sincere about it. But not only would your experience, if viewed as Christian baptism, defy numerous references to and descriptions of Christian baptism, but you're telling us that you were the recipient of something that is never, ever, mentioned in Scripture. That's despite the many references to Baptism there...and it also stands in contrast to the experience of the billions of other Christians in history who were baptized in the Scriptural fashion.

How did he baptize you?
Mark 1615-16

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

I had been reading the gospel according to mathew and I believed the gospel. I learned how to pray and how to fast. I also learned that I must forgive before I could be forgiven.
Not until I had decided to forgive my bother was I forgiven.
But it was like Jesus said. Pray to the father in secret and the father that seeth thee in secret shall reward thee openly.
I recieved the holy ghost simply by believing the gospel.
I believed and he baptised me.

Jesus didn't Baptiste me with water. He baptised me in the holy ghost. He didn't do it the way you thought he should. He did it his way

It's that last part that I was asking about. I don't doubt that you had some sort of conversion experience.

I see that you just addressed that in your reply to Lamb, but God does not set up his church, recruit its first ministers and give them explicit instructions, including baptism, and then ignore or violate that! In fact, the New Testament also explains that the Holy Spirit will come and guide the church so that it does not fall into error (i.e. the Gates of Hell will not prevail against it).

Jesus didn't violate his word.
He said to ask, and so I did.
Luke 11:9
So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.
For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.
Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead?
Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion?
If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”

I didn't need to go take a public bath.
All I needed to do was ask.
I was washed clean and never had to leave my house.

The only thing I missed was getting wet.
I have the holy ghost and I would much rather have that than anything any man could offer.

Wow. To add a finishing touch to your tall tale, you think it's a great idea to poke fun at Christ and his church in the process! 😞

If you don't think so, why'd you ask?

However, Jesus made a special point of ordaining the sacraments, showing how they are to be observed, carefully explaining their meaning to his followers, identifying the people who were to administer them, and he also directed all who follow him to continue to observe these ordinances...but you seriously think he didn't mean it in your case!?

“Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.” John 3:5

Rejecting the baptism that Jesus commands is rejecting what God promises to give you.

When Jesus sent the disciples out to baptize, it was done with water. You can't change what Jesus commanded and claim it as your own.

Jesus never said to use water.
John the baptist used water.
Jesus doesn't.

That's very true...AND it cannot be denied, so long as Scripture is our guide.

Well, God's word says to use water. And Christ specifically instructed his Apostles to baptize converts. Nothing there about some dream taking the place of the ceremony for anyone!

Jesus doesn't.
That's irrelevant since we're not discussing John's baptism and God's word draws a clear distinction between it and Christian baptism.
Jesus never baptised anyone with water.
But he told questioners and his own disciples to do so! Why that is being fought against so vigorously by some here is a bit of a mystery, frankly.

Acts 11:9-17
The voice spoke from heaven a second time, ‘Do not call anything impure that God has made clean.’
This happened three times, and then it was all pulled up to heaven again.
Right then three men who had been sent to me from Caesarea stopped at the house where I was staying.
The Spirit told me to have no hesitation about going with them. These six brothers also went with me, and we entered the man’s house.
He told us how he had seen an angel appear in his house and say, ‘Send to Joppa for Simon who is called Peter.
He will bring you a message through which you and all your household will be saved.’
As I began to speak, the Holy Spirit came on them as he had come on us at the beginning.
Then I remembered what the Lord had said: ‘John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.’
So if God gave them the same gift he gave us who believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I to think that I could stand in God’s way?”

No water needed.
And you shouldn't try to stand in God's way.

You should really talk to a pastor as to why you reject baptism.

I take showers at least 6 times a week.
But it was God who baptised me i the holy ghost.

I need not a man to lead as you have.
I have God to lead me.

You'll need to do a lot more biblical exploring. You mock what Jesus clearly commanded and insist you don't need His gifts to you.

I have the gift of the Holy ghost. It was given to me by God.
Why do you think God can't clean a person?
