Your denomination has changed the truth.

Good luck with that - Christ IS the Truth!

We are not to call any brothers in Christ 'father'.

1Co 4:15
For though ye have ten thousand instructors in Christ,
yet have ye not many fathers:
for in Christ Jesus
I have begotten you
through the gospel.

Jesus is the only mediator.

We are to obey Christ and His Apostles...

To pray for - to intermediate in prayer - one another...

In prayer and supplication for one another...

To seek it and to give it one to another...

We do not stop doing so by our departure from this world...

We are to go through Jesus and not through Mary and other "Saints".

The prayer of a righteous man availeth much...

We are not to bow in front of the works of our hands.

We bow down to the Holy Things of God...

We are not to baptize infants,

There is no Biblical prohibition against entering children into the Kingdom of God...

but rather believe and repent of sins and then be baptized.

Fallacy of the False Alternative...

The Eastern Orthodox has added things to baptism that are not from God.

Hurling accusations and finger pointing are not helpful...

They water baptize people by lowering in water three times and give the person a glass of milk with honey.

False... No milk and honey -

They teach that there is real blood and flesh in the bread,

False - We teach that the Bread and the Wine ARE the Body and Blood of the Risen Lord...

and teach the people to abstain from sexual relations with their spouse,
and abstain from food before receiving the bread.

I have a long list of other things as well that we abstain from to prepare for Receiving the Body and Blood of our Lord...

Sin, for instance...

That is much right there for you to stop doing,
but then you know you would have to leave that denomination.

I obey God, not you...

You can throw me into fire and I will not leave Christ's Holy Body...

Nor, I pray, will I ever turn from Her...

Please pray for me...

That I never turn from God...

I was under the impression that “were marked in Christ with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession” [Eph 1:13-14 NIV] ... so do all EOC infants eventually achieve Glorification, or is there some way to remove the seal and be unmarked, return the deposit, void the guarantee, forsake the inheritance and cease being God’s possession?

Very few attain to Glorification in this lifetime...

Very very few...

BUT...

Some do...

And they carry the world...

As Lot carried S and G...

Until he didn't...

Believe and obey God and no more excuses.

Do you really want to be boss?

If yes, then I must obey you...

If no, then I am free to obey God...

God Bless You, my Friend...

The Seal of the Holy Spirit is what establishes our new hypostasis in Christ in Baptism...
It is where we become a New Creation in Christ...
It is why Christ said that John, being the greatest of the Prophets, is less than the least in the Kingdom of Heaven...
This is what we give our children in Baptism at 40 days...

What?

Stop preaching things that are not what God says.

You need to think about what YOU say to another person...
Isn't that how it works...?
What one is falsely accused of...
Is exactly what the false accuser is doing...

I could not agree more...

I was not speaking of this lifetime, but of Glorification in Heaven when God redeems His possessions.
You are claiming baptized infants are IN CHRIST and have the Holy Spirit, so I am asking about the deposit of EPH 1:13-14.
Do the baptized infants have the deposit?
Can they loose the deposit?

You can't even read what someone says without a false spin on it.

Tell me where I said to obey me?

I have been telling you to obey God.

God says not to call your brothers in Christ 'father'.
God says not to bow to the works of your hands.

Those are easy. Why don't you do it?

Someone said it to me.

You are trying hard to defend your false doctrines by being insulting to me personally.

It does not work, Arsenios.

Now lets talk about God's Truth.

You claim it is in your denomination.

However, I am showing you that your denomination does not do what Jesus teaches in the Bible.

John the baptizer was born from God to be the forerunner to Christ.

You speak about John the baptizer having the Holy Spirit at birth but then you go against what the one with the Holy Spirit at birth says.

John the baptizer says repent and believe.

Infants cannot do either of those things.

In your next sentence:

I have been telling you to obey God.

So do I obey you and go on ahead and then obey God?

God says not to call your brothers in Christ 'father'.

Then explain Paul's words...

God says not to bow to the works of your hands.

That means to things that are ONLY the works of your hands...

Remember what happened to the guy who touched the Ark of the Covenant?

Those are easy. Why don't you do it?

They are false...

Where do your beliefs in infant baptism come from? The Bible or not?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yes, from holy scripture and also from holy Tradition and also from the Church's magisterium.

Were you asking because of what I wrote before; specifically this:
That is true in a sense; the sense in which it is true is that no one is saved until the last day when the Lord judges everyone. But everyone who is in Christ is saved as long as they remain in him. And infants are baptised into Christ just as adults are and have faith appropriate to their abilities just as adults do and repent according to their abilities just like adults do. But I previously pointed out that Infants have no personal sins to repent of because they have no capacity to deliberately sin and when very young have no physical ability to materially sin.

Someone said it to me.

Thank you for acknowledging the point...

You are trying hard to defend your false doctrines by being insulting to me personally.

By quoting your own post I insulted you personally???

You need to think about what YOU say to another person.
Isn't that how it works...

is doing.

These are your very words...

It does not work, Arsenios.

Then why use them?

Why accuse and insult others?

Now lets talk about God's Truth.

Still sounds like a COMMAND!!!

Should I obey you?

You claim it is in your denomination.

A plain lie on your part...

I am the one who SCORNS denominationalism...
I DENY that I am a part of any DENOMINATION...
Yet you FALSELY ACCUSE me of claiming something for MY DENOMINATION...

Let me quote a friend of mine:

You need to think about what YOU say to another person.
Isn't that how it works...
what one is falsely accused of
is exactly what the false accuser
is doing.

However, I am showing you that your denomination does not do what Jesus teaches in the Bible.

We disagree...

So what's new?

Adults raise children in the Church...

Or not...

There is no scripture that says infants were baptized.

Households include children...

And there is no Scripture forbidding the Baptism of Children...

"Suffer the little children unto Me..."

Christ's very words...

The Disciples falsely thought like you do...

For myself,
I join with every other self-respecting adult
in the settled knowledge
that unpunished children
are the BANE
of adult existence...

And the floggings will continue...
Until morale improves!

Yes, from holy scripture and also from holy Tradition and also from the Church's magisterium.

The Church has been Baptizing Her children into Christ for 2000 years now...
ALL Apostolic Churches baptize their new-born children...
The Church is the Ground and the Pillar of Truth...

Do you see all your excuses?

I say God in the Bible says to obey Him.

You say, "I don't have to obey you."

I say God in the Bible says do not bow in front of the works of your hands

You say but they are holy pictures.

I say God says not to call your brothers in Christ 'father'.
You say Paul says he was la father.

So many excuses you have not to obey God.

I think that "splat" is not quite the right word, perhaps demonstrandum would be a closer match the usual expansion of QED - quod erat demonstrandum. ;)

People here were lying and saying I said things that I did not.

They lied about what I said and falsely judged me.

You are trying to interject yourself in the conversion I had with them so that you could gang up.

So let's just talk about doctrines and speak honestly.

You are not doing that.
