Your denomination has changed the truth.
Good luck with that - Christ IS the Truth!
We are not to call any brothers in Christ 'father'.
1Co 4:15
For though ye have ten thousand instructors in Christ,
yet have ye not many fathers:
for in Christ Jesus
I have begotten you
through the gospel.
Jesus is the only mediator.
We are to obey Christ and His Apostles...
To pray for - to intermediate in prayer - one another...
In prayer and supplication for one another...
To seek it and to give it one to another...
We do not stop doing so by our departure from this world...
We are to go through Jesus and not through Mary and other "Saints".
The prayer of a righteous man availeth much...
We are not to bow in front of the works of our hands.
We bow down to the Holy Things of God...
We are not to baptize infants,
There is no Biblical prohibition against entering children into the Kingdom of God...
but rather believe and repent of sins and then be baptized.
Fallacy of the False Alternative...
The Eastern Orthodox has added things to baptism that are not from God.
Hurling accusations and finger pointing are not helpful...
They water baptize people by lowering in water three times and give the person a glass of milk with honey.
False... No milk and honey -
They teach that there is real blood and flesh in the bread,
False - We teach that the Bread and the Wine ARE the Body and Blood of the Risen Lord...
and teach the people to abstain from sexual relations with their spouse,
and abstain from food before receiving the bread.
I have a long list of other things as well that we abstain from to prepare for Receiving the Body and Blood of our Lord...
Sin, for instance...
That is much right there for you to stop doing,
but then you know you would have to leave that denomination.
I obey God, not you...
You can throw me into fire and I will not leave Christ's Holy Body...
Nor, I pray, will I ever turn from Her...
Please pray for me...
That I never turn from God...
