Is it LAWFUL to kill animals?

How is it justified if you have all the food you need to get all the nutrients you need, at cheap prices, at the nearest store? I think you missed the part of my post where I mentioned that all supermarkets would be full of the widest diversity of edible fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds...

Is it LAWFUL to kill animals?

It is very unlikely, but if it does happen, then that would indicate that your conscience is seared. My advice for you in such a situation would be to should spend more time in prayer, and obey the 10 commandments and the teachings of Jesus.

    Elon Musk is buying Twitter

I use Twitter quite rarely cause I don't really understand how to gain followers and the community seems very close-minded in regards to the things I'm interested in discussing. And I know too little about Elon Musk to be able to have any opinion on his purchase of this site.

Is it LAWFUL to kill animals?

I said during prayer. Honest prayer. Genuine prayer. Tell God about the issue, ask Him to show you what He wants you to do. Really mean it. I doubt such a prayer would lead you to have peace at the thought of sinning. Careful not to mistake peace for other feelings, such as satisfaction or...

Is it LAWFUL to kill animals?

What my conscience tells me when I read the Bible and ask Jesus in prayer.

Is it LAWFUL to kill animals?

Some people value their conscience more than Scripture if the former brings them interior peace during prayer, and I tend to agree with them.

Is it LAWFUL to kill animals?

I don't believe in biblical infallibility and inerrancy because it was collected and put together by humans and there was no supernatural confirmation (that I know of) of its accuracy. The Holy Spirit did not visibly and audibly descend over the council that created the Biblical canon while they...

Is it LAWFUL to kill animals?

His interpretation is based on his conscience. Unless it is severely altered by evil, the conscience of each human finds killing to be wrong, and they would not do it if they were not pressured by external factors, such as hunger, peer pressure, social conditioning etc. In a world in which meat...

How would you depict the 7 heavenly virtues in oil paintings?

I want to paint the 7 heavenly virtues, either personified or as actions... or in any other ways, so I need ideas / suggestions from you. All input is appreciated. Thanks in advance. God bless you!

Is it LAWFUL to kill animals?

My conscience strongly tells me that @DanielL is right. I've tried fighting it, but it feels like fighting against God Himself. It doesn't make sense for God to tell His creations to destroy among themselves.

What are your thoughts on the Christus Victor theory of atonement?

One more thing. You seem to have a knack for accusing people of contradicting themselves, when , in fact, it's just a matter of you misunderstanding what they are saying. It is quite possible to find something nonsensical and yet be open to the possibility that it might be true. And this is...

What are your thoughts on the Christus Victor theory of atonement?

Well, if you don't believe that I am honest, then thank you for your time. I have nothing else to discuss with you. It is pretty obvious that your attitude is not Christ-like.

What are your thoughts on the Christus Victor theory of atonement?

It should. It should sadden and worry you. It should make you want to find a way to make me believe, especially because I manifested a desire to believe. As a Christian, you should strive to help your brethren who want to be saved. Jesus told the disciples to walk away from those who reject the...

Blessed Easter! @Lamb, why aren't there any Easter emoticons on CH?

What are your thoughts on the Christus Victor theory of atonement?

It bothers me that I am told to do something (namely, to believe), and, when I explain to you that I don't know how to do that, instead of presenting clear instructions for how I can learn to believe like you do, you reject my inability to believe and tell me that I will be tortured for eternity...

What are your thoughts on the Christus Victor theory of atonement?

I don't understand how you came to that conclusion. I don't see myself contradicting myself here. Please explain. That's an incorrect assumption. I don't choose to believe the scientific method. That is just how my mind works. I don't know whether it is because it has been conditioned that way...
