What are your Easter plans?

After my surgery, being in a car for too long is painful so I won't be attending church in service. My daughter has to work so my husband and I will be having stuffed shells for our meal with a pie for dessert.

A couple of friends are being taken into membership at church, which will be good. Then if the weather holds my wife and I are going for a walk in the woods.

We ended up going for a 3 mile walk at the park this morning without realizing we were going that far. I've only been doing 2 miles at a time when I go for my walks (since I had surgery) so this probably wasn't a good idea to do 3. But I survived.

We came home and decided to make our Easter meal for lunch so we could have it again for dinner too LOL We're smart like that.

Anyway, the butter from the garlic bread was coming out of the cheap store brand foil I used and it got all over the bottom of my oven, started smoking and the smoke alarm went off. Yay. So that happened.

Got our walk in. 5 miles all in, taking in a nice local vista.

First of all, Happy Easter to you all. Easter Sunday I spent working, delivering for Uber Eats although, due to the rise in temperature on Easter Sunday and most people out and about, my earnings were a lot lower than usual. All the major supermarkets and stores were closed on Sunday. Two days in a year when this happens: Easter Sunday and Christmas Day.
