    Do we need prophets today?

Correct. My understanding of "Prophet" is one who has brought forth new insight from/through the Lord God himself. John of Patmos was the last and final prophet of God IMHO.. besides Jesus Christ Himself... actually Jesus gave John HIS revelation THROUGH John!

    School's pagan indoctrination and influence

Something at work the other day for some reason reminded me of the song and dance "Hokey Pokey" I learned in elementary school. After reciting the lyrics I noticed that this was basically a witches "seance", which led me to think of other ways I was introduced to paganism through organized...

Why do you think that Paul’s direct disciple said that Judith is Sacred Scripture?

Maybe Peter was speaking of a different Paul in his 2nd epistle, maybe Peter is a different Peter all together, perhaps the book of James wasn't written by the Apostle James.. perhaps, perhaps, perhaps.

Why does the book of Revelation say that you can anoint your eyes with medicine to cure blindness?

Its not silly it's "ipso facto", provide an alternative theory that suggest that Tobit wasn't included in the Christian bibles throughout the majority of Christian history. You can't and you won't and you know it

Why does the book of Revelation say that you can anoint your eyes with medicine to cure blindness?

Doesn't change the fact that Tobit was in all Christian Bibles prior to the great bible scalping of the 1800s via the bible societies [emoji849] So whatever run with it but at least provide us with an alternative theory that disagrees with the fact that Tobit is found in every known Christian...

Why does the book of Revelation say that you can anoint your eyes with medicine to cure blindness?

does this say what I think it says? kinda hard to tell with all of the strange spelling and scales over my eyes [emoji851]

Do you believe the story of Noah’s ark is literal or figurative?

That question is interesting, I didn't read the article btw because that question alone sounds like a complaint against God, I mean seriously as Christians we know for a fact that the lake of fire is reserved for the devil and his angels and followers and that it exists so why should we have...

Why does the book of Revelation say that you can anoint your eyes with medicine to cure blindness?

Yeah and even though "apocrypha" books mention the crucifixion, the resurrection, the seven angels, charity towards all mankind, expelling demons, healing the blind.. you know, stuff that only appears to hit the mark and allude to the NT... they were totally uninspired even though they were in...

Why does the book of Revelation say that you can anoint your eyes with medicine to cure blindness?

No such Bible existed before 1885 that didn't include Tobit

Why does the book of Revelation say that you can anoint your eyes with medicine to cure blindness?

If book B was copied from book A and book A is no longer around, doesn't book B have what book A originally had? Tobit was still in all Christian bibles no matter which date you choose, ie 4th Century, it doesn't change the fact

Why does the book of Revelation say that you can anoint your eyes with medicine to cure blindness?

There was an LXX, same concept, just scrolls bound together into books, Ta Biblia (the books)

Do you believe the story of Noah’s ark is literal or figurative?

It wasn't regional, the entire world was transformed

Why does the book of Revelation say that you can anoint your eyes with medicine to cure blindness?

All Christian Bibles did include Tobit, why does that frustrate you so much?

Why does the book of Revelation say that you can anoint your eyes with medicine to cure blindness?

I believe the question is in response to @atpollard who argued in an earlier thread that.. in the case of the book of Tobit, the ointment is either a miracle or a medicine (but cannot be both).. Nathan points out in the book of Revelation that a medical term is used although it has a spiritual...

    Ecclesiasticals VS Canonical

Correct, it's a prayer.. a very good prayer too! The LXX states in Chronicles (I believe) that the Prayer is found in the account of the prayer (or in it's account), which is different than what the Masoretic states.. it took me a while to understand what it meant but I believe instead of "book"...

    Ecclesiasticals VS Canonical

Actually all Christian bibles are catholic, some include maps and some don't, some include 2 classes of scripture and some rip 1 class of scripture out, this doesn't disprove my point
