Movie night! - 'The Shining' :scared:

Would that be Stanley Kubrick's version? It's a favorite for persons who do not believe man has ever set foot on the moon.

Lol, so many quotable lines from that movie, we used to include in some of the all nighters we would pull 'back in the day'. Glad those days are over, of course, but there were some fun times, I suppose. That was some movie. Not for the paranoid or faint-hearted. I never read the book. Enjoy.

The book kills the movie. There was apparently quite the animosity between Kubrik and Steven King about the adaptation. That was the reason for the cheap mini-series that came out (I think) in the 90's. King wanted his version, and it was a bomb. As I recall, the book was quite a boring read.

Everbearing strawberries are the best. One plant and you get 3 generations from them. Actually everbearing because you keep pruning the oldest plant.

With what Kubrik was able to do with his productions, even in the early 60's (Dr. Strangelove comes to mind), I don't doubt that at all.

Getting ready for bed soon. I won't be around much tomorrow since my husband is off work.

Lucky rabbit! That looks good!
Rens gets the leftovers. I keep telling her I'll cook her some good meals, but she says she doesn't eat meat:(
She comes to America she will.
...
I've told her, meatballs, lasagne, babyback ribs, chili, and right now making corned beef and cabbage, (though there's really nothing to that, it basically cooks itself)
...
And Easter is coming, ... Ham, kbasi, bockwurst, cabanoss, (and hrudka and piroghies). I'll make her a hamburger, she'll never want any other. Put on the lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, hot peps if you like .... Theres your veggies!
God wants us to eat meat. Why don't ppl want it? Yum. :=D:
