Arnold Schwarzenegger shared his candid thoughts on heaven, religion, and the afterlife during a one-on-one conversation with long-time friend and actor Danny DeVito. During their insightful chat, DeVito asked Schwarzenegger about the future. The Terminator himself didn't mince words, offering his perspective on what happens after we die.

"It reminds me of Howard Stern's question to me. 'Tell me, governor, what happens to us when we die?' I said, 'Nothing. You're six feet under. Anyone that tells you something else is a liar,'" Schwarzenegger candidly responded.

"We don't know what happens with the soul and all this spiritual stuff that I'm not an expert in, but I know that the body as we see each other now, we will never see each other again like that." The action legend admitted that discussing death is uncomfortable, but he expressed skepticism about the concept of heaven, calling it a "fantasy".

"When people talk about, 'I will see them again in heaven,' it sounds so good, but the reality is that we won't see each other again after we're gone. That's the sad part. I know people feel comfortable with death, but I don't," he shared.

Schwarzenegger, who has experienced the loss of numerous friends within the bodybuilding industry over the years, has developed his own unique perspective on heaven. "To me, heaven is where I put a person who I love dearly, who is kind, who is generous, who made a difference in my life and other people's lives," he explained. "I keep them in a spot in my head, like that front row that you have of all of your friends. And you always have a good feeling when you think of them."

What do you think? Do you share his opinions on the matter?

The article says this about his beliefs: has developed his own unique perspective on heaven.

I don't listen to non-believers on what they think happens after we die. They have no hope in God anyway, so of course they mostly think we just lie in the ground forever and that's that.

I don't think we can actually know what heaven is like with our earthly mind anymore than a baby in the womb can know what the outside world is like before it is born.

But we will all know in time, either that or we will know nothing because there is nothing to do the knowing.

Yeah but a baby in the womb can sense the outside world and the energy from it. I watch that Maury paternity show sometimes and they will show clips of the kids back stage, and Some of those kids act like they know what's going on! Maybe not the details but at least the energy on stage from the parents. Scripture tells to dwell on the things of heaven , so I try to. and I think it will be like everything on earth (that we pay for!) is types and shadows of what is in heaven. Only free (lol), and enhanced divinely. No more cell phones, no airplanes needed, food will be free. But I think that some form of commerce will be needed? Jesus said, I go to prepare a place for you, so...we'll have houses and some will live in the city while others may live on the outskirts of town and grow food, which the city dwellers might need since they dont live on a farm with a mansion?

Quantum theory has what (I think) they call Entanglement. They said they tested it at a distance. If you stimulate two, uh, molecules, quarks? Not sure but they act the same, if one gets stimulated, then the other one does also So they did that and then took one out and flew it 50 miles away or something like that and continued to stimulate the one back at base to make it act differently and the other particle (at a distance) immediately began acting the same. So the conclusion was, every molecule or particle in the known universe knows everything that everything else does. Entanglement. So the kids backstage at Maury's do know what's going on, or at least if it is a good or bad thing.

I don't imagine many people on a Christian forum will agree with the view that heaven is a fantasy.

I don't know, man. There were plenty of agnostics and atheists on that other Christian forum I got banned from.

It's not that heaven is a fantasy just because you've never been there. All that is is proof that Hollywood warped Arnold's mind and ability to think.

Well, OK. Agnostics and atheists might agree with a perspective that's, you know, kinda agnostic/atheist in nature. But asking a question like that on a Christian forum does seem a bit like going to a meeting of your local Democrat association and asking how many people voted for Donald Trump. Sure, a few of them might be exploring options but the chances are most of them voted for Kamala Harris.

You're right. Maybe if Lamb hadn't made posting in the Christian subforums impossible for non-Christians, this community would have more active non-Christian members.

Doing what? Trolling the Christians who do have a Belief? More peaceful how Lamb has it set up.

I don't know where you are coming from. You say you are a theist so believe in God...but it is not the Christian God? Do I have that right? I'm just asking. Who is your God? What is His name?

You don't seem to be seeking after the Christian God in your posts...so why come to a Christian forum?

Or if you want a response from a wider cross-section, post it in a forum frequented by the people you want. A Christian forum is aimed at Christians, just like a wood turning forum is aimed at wood turners and a crochet forum is aimed at people who crochet.

We have the World Religion and Speculative Theology forum for those who don't adhere to the site's statement of faith in regards to what is a Christian.
