That depends on whether you consider "apollyon" his name, then it would be out of the abyss. There are many antichrist as Yeshua has warned us about. But there is only one which is pivotal and he is THE antichrist. I suspect it is Satan Himself as there are two aspect of THE antichrist that make him unusual from the rest of the human imitators. Satan can not appear "in the flesh". Satan can not be "holy". By these two things the very elect will know this illusion is not the real return of Yeshua. That is besides the fact that Satan will come first before the great and terrible day of the Lord.

So. I think it is possible that the man designated to be the man of sin (as was Judas) would be entered into by satan as Bill suggested he would be. It is not out of the realm of possibility as it happened before.

Good point, but not to possess, just use momentarily to achieve another step in his evil endeavors. Satan wants to be worshiped as God. He can't get that satisfaction unless He is there in person to be worshiped. That is the ultimate moment in Satan's mind.

OK, so what are you saying exactly? I can think supernaturally, but I am not sure I understand what you are saying in this case.

Satan has been working for over 6000 years to get all the kingdoms of the earth to be his. He wants to be like the most High. He wants to be worship as god. He, at the last moment, in his crowning achievements, you think is going to possess a human body to accept the adoration?? I think not.

I believe he will come as Christ, a great imitation of Him, I might add, doing a little of the benedictions, healings??, taking the crown from all nations to be the Ruler/God of earth... He will slay those who disagree with him... He will be hypnotic, charismatic when necessary, mesmerizing, shining like bright being not of this earth. Probably larger than life too. He will shake hands with every evil ruler there is. In order for the whole world to follow him, he has to represent their greatest wishes in a leader. According to the plans of the Great White Brotherhood (Illuminati) and the New Age Maitreya was the one who was supposed to come to earth as "god" and sit as chief of the Global New World Order. According to Muslims, the current jhad is necessary is to usher in their Imam. Someone supernatural would most easily it their bill and all will claim that he is the one, and they have been saying the same thing all along. Funny there are other signs like never before in earth's history, where you can not look at politics and no see corruption, where you look at the financial crisis coming because we are pushed to the brink of collapse, where the invasion into all the world of Islamic people will change the face of this earth in short order, where the earth has more volcanoes, earthquakes, and climate changes of more chaotic nature and then you have people saying it has always been this way. Really...How bad does it have to get before you say, this is getting serious.

Yes this is probably very true. But a prophesied event has happened in our time that was not present during those early wars you listed. Israel was born. The Jews are back in their land. I believe that is the signal to begin looking at those things Jesus told us to look for.

How am I to know how old you are? Any time after 1948 is our time. 1837 may have significant to some back then ,but, not to the whole world. When Israel became an independent state in 1948, the whole world noticed.
