It really bothers me how the Trumop supporters circle the wagons and really dont care if it is true or not. I just dont understand this it is just as bad as the ones that want to blame him for everything just on the opposite side

What bothers ME is how Democrats are quick to believe any allegation even from someone who heard from someone else but didn't know firsthand whether it was true or not.

There are hardcore fanboys on both sides. Truth be told when the opposition cries wolf so often it's hardly surprising that when they cry wolf again people just yawn and wonder what they are blowing out of proportion this time.

Do you mean like how Trump calls everything "fake news" or "witchhunt" almost every single day?

It's an honest observation, like that anti trump commercial of him "slandering" mexicans is pretty much a great summery of how the news media twist his words out of context. It's bearing false witness and the mainstream media needs to be charged for misinformation, I hope an act comes in prohibiting this abusive behavior towards the american public.

Have you ever seen MSNBC or CNN or read something from the New York Times? Their 'news' IS often fake. They themselves have had to admit to it, even.

I see articles at least weekly that contain information that is not "data" or "facts" but instead opinions. That shouldn't even be considered NEWS but yet it's on the main pages of some news sites and touted as being important.

Some aspects of the news are undoubtedly fake news. Some of the Democrats have been wanting to impeach him pretty much since his inauguration, so I think it's probably safe to refer to a witchhunt with every new handful of mud they are throwing.

But you are right, the fact Trump calls something fake news may or may not mean it's actually fake news - he uses the term so much it may mean anything from "this is such a travesty this particular outlet should be shut down" to "I don't want people being told this".

This is also true, it's surprisingly refreshing to read an article and see the footnote that "this is an opinion piece, the views expressed are those of the author". I often like to read opinion pieces, as long as they are labelled.

That is like those who voted for Trump because Hillary is "evil", they heard Trump call out to "lock her up" for crimes she is guilty of, when he would win the presidency, and accuse her of collusion. But, it's different if there is basis for Trump to be investigated for that very thing?

What are you talking about? Things we saw for ourselves he was really doing? What we saw can't legitimately be called fake.

Did people really vote for him because they thought Hillary was "evil"?

I voted for him instead of her because of her arrogance in a tv commercial in thinking she already won and was mocking him. Other people I know voted for him to drain the swamp of politicians who aren't looking out for the country's best interest. It seems they're still doing looking out for their own interests though so it isn't drained enough yet.

I think you are right about that. There were plenty of different reasons for Americans to be opposed to Hillary--more than enough to go around.

It's your imagination you are drawing from, not what you "saw for yourself." <_<

It shows how strong the power of suggestion can be.

No no no, the only reason not to vote for Hillary was because sexism. You know, that's why the left supported Sarah Palin in 2008.

Oh, wait....

One thing that comes to mind about the whistleblower is this...the definition of Gossip: unconstrained conversation or reports about other people, typically involving details that are not confirmed as being true.

The whistleblower did not have first hand information. It was 2nd and even 3rd hand information.

If you're going to try to go after someone at least make sure that YOU were present to witness illegal activity. Otherwise it's just gossip.

They are using whistle-blower legislation to protect slanders by hearsay...

I don't really have to. Trump admitted it and the transcript shows he talked to another foreign leader about interfering with the election by trying to find dirt on Biden's son. Then he authorized withholding funds from the Ukraine so he could do his version of a mob shakedown. It's disgraceful and unethical

All of which is lies by false accusers...

Maybe you can get a better candidate in 2020...

But so far it's not looking good for the Dem's

Yes. It's flabbergasting how some people, apparently ordinary people, can assume all sorts of things without evidence...and then, to compound that error, lecture the rest of us on their speculation (actually second-hand spin picked up online or on TV) as though it is God's own truth. What are we coming to in this country anyway?

Yes, a lot of people voted for her because of her stance on abortion which is basically abortion on demand up to the time the baby is born.

i hope so for Trump's sake. I hope it is lies. An impeachment inquiry isn't good for our country and I hope they find nothing wrong.

Yes, a lot of people voted for her because of her stance on abortion which is basically abortion on demand up to the time the baby is born.

She was so self-assured that she was to be the winner that the day before the polls opened she was beginning to threaten the middle-America with all manner of persecutions, and she even once said, "If we don't win, we will all hang..." That woman has a mean and evil streak in her, and she thought with the deep state all in place, she could turn the US into a California... There would have been a hot civil war had she won, instead of the cold one we have now with the deep state in deep defense mode...

We need to finish the job...
