The elect are baptized (immersed) in Christ by the Holy Spirit. Water baptism is symbolic of what God has already done.
It has never been the dunking into or sprinkling with water that saves. Those who teach such a thing are just teaching magic rather than God's grace.

I said Baptists have been around since then. This is a fact. Baptists have been around since the time Christ walked the earth. Rome came later.
