First, you cannot derive an accurate understanding of the nature of God by one verse only. The testimony of the WHOLE Bible refutes your theory. Occasionally in scripture we see the one side showing itself particularly strongly, but at other times it goes the other way. For every example that informs us in the way that this one you referred to does, there are others that go strongly the other way, but verses which are not simply reports on something Jesus did or said leave no doubt about the Trinity.
