It's abhorrent.

Entry into the United States of America by Federal Law requires Federal authorization...

If you wish the USA not require such authorization, then elect people who will change that law...

In the mean time, support 3rd world ministries supporting the poor and adopting their orphans...

That is what most of us do in our concern for them...

Arsenios

It is not a matter of the law, it is an administrative policy. Electing new house and senate members isn't going to change an executive policy. The law does not require that parents and children be separated upon entry into the USA without valid entry papers.

What frightens me is not only was this policy implemented but more so the number of those willing to defend it.

Its looking like Morecoffee will soon have a hero hehe

No hero. But it is cause to thank God that a wicked policy appears to be ending. Now the task is to undo the damage already done by the policy and get the children back to their parents and have them counselled and helped to cope with what happened to them. God willing the damage will be reduced by the actions of people of good will.

It is very frightening that Christian people can so easily be convinced to defend a wicked policy seemingly because of political tribal loyalty.

Are you willing to admit that families, who more likely than not knew what was happening, are in any way culpable? The video you posted clearly had a little girl telling the Consulate official that her mother told her beforehand that the child's Aunt could come get her. That idea did not come from thin air.

I have no idea what the parents may have known or may not have known but the children clearly were the victims here.

The ACLU says they have documentation of wide spread child abuse by DHS...from 2009-2014. I guess the Obama administration is just as bad as the Trump administration.
https://www.aclu.org/news/aclu-obta...-widespread-abuse-child-immigrants-us-custody

Does that make current abuses less abusive?

Did Stalin's gulags make Hitler's concentration camps less horrible?

I can't quite see the relevance of this kind of argument, except as a mean of diverting attention from the wicked that one's own tribe does.

Here is our President keeping immigrant families together with an Executive Order...
And maintaining a Zero Tolerance Policy at the border...

Amazing isn't it, how Donald had his hands tied and how Donald said, only yesterday, how only the congress could stop the family separations by passing new immigration laws that would pay for the wall and now all of a sudden Donald stopped it himself without any law changes and with his "hands tied". It's almost as if he was lying yesterday. Amazing

First, the issue of illegal immigrants (criminals) being separated from their children is hardly comparable to Stalin or Hitler. Your hyperbole speaks more to your ignorance than it does to the the immigration policies of the US.
However, I suggest you come to Juarez, Mexico and help the poor rather than complain from your cozy island.

Abhorrent is a good starting point. Inhuman, barbaric and evil also come to mind.

Demonization is demonization...

We demonized the "JAPS" and the "KRAUTS" in WWII, and the "ZIPS" in Vietnam...

It is the rhetoric of hatred for the purpose of homicide...

It is not the Way of Peace...
