But that would mean that there IS NOT a group of people who have been predestined--from before their births--to believe and be saved.
Scripture says otherwise.
If there is even the slightest possibility of one or more of these Elect failing to act on the opportunity to believe and/or exercise their free will by choosing Christ...then the whole idea of Election AKA predestination to glory is denied!
God doesn't operate in the realm of possibilities, that would be a humanized god.
No. What the great majority of Christians believe is that Christ, by his sacrifice on the Cross, made it possible for every human to find salvation.
Another example of a humanized god, dependent on what others believe and still living in the realm of possibilities.
Having free will, each person can choose Christ or reject him and his promises. There are many ways by which they can be brought to trust in Jesus, but we all know that not everyone will do so. Nothing in that situation gives anybody grounds for boasting, nor is it necessary for all who choose Christ to be high-level theologians, either.
Having free will in light of their blindness and depravity as well as having the nature of the devil, people will choose what is evil. It takes the imparting of a new nature to begin to want to believe.

'High level theologians'? Where did that come from?

Now as they observed the confidence of Peter and John and understood that they were uneducated and untrained men, they were amazed, and began to recognize them as having been with Jesus.
— Acts 4:13

More verses say the opposite.

Well, Christianity has the answer to that problem (if it really is a problem!)

Like these?

Romans 9:19 Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will?
Romans 9:20 Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus?
Romans 9:21 Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?
Romans 9:22 What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:
Romans 9:23 And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,
Romans 9:24 Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?

Well, Christianity has the answer to that problem (if it really is a problem!)
I don't know about any 'anitys' having the answer to mankind's problem, but the Person of Jesus Christ IS the Answer.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Some years ago I heard of an exchange between a preacher and a young
inquirer that went something like this:

YOUTH: What would I have to do that's so bad I'd go to Hell?

PREACHER: You don't have to do anything at all; just bide your time and you'll get
there.

YOUTH: How so?

PREACHER: Hell is the default, whereas Heaven is an option. In other words; all
that's required to end up in Hell is indifference.

That's an interesting explanation...and thought-provoking, too. ☺️

Acts 8:30-31 . . Philip ran over and heard the man reading from the prophet
Isaiah; so he asked, "Do you understand what you are reading?" The man replied,
"How can I, when there is no one to instruct me?"

The man with whom Philip dialogued wasn't some obscure cobalt miner in the
Democratic Republic of Congo or an illiterate cow poke herding beef in Montana.
The man was high up in the government of Ethiopia; so it's likely he had an above
average IQ, and yet without someone to help him, he was stumped by Isa 53:7-8.

Acts 19:1-2 . . While Apollos was at Corinth, Paul took the road through the
interior and arrived at Ephesus. There he found some disciples and asked them: Did
you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed? They answered: No, we have not
even heard that there is a Holy Spirit.

Those folks were disciples, but not Jesus' disciples 'cause had they been, they
would've been endowed with his spirit. That was a lucky encounter for those
people, and Paul of course straightaway took some time to get them connected with
Christ. I mean, after all, isn't that what preachers sign on for?

Sign up for. Pfff. Everyone can do what they want and the preacher gets judged cause he was so naive to become a preacher. I warn my sons to never become a preacher. They treat you like a slave.

Gen 6:3 . . My spirit will not contend with man forever, for he is mortal

The Hebrew word translated "contend" basically refers to law and order. In other
words: God's spirit was preaching to folk on up to the time of the Flood.

FAQ: Did the people hear an audible voice?

REPLY: Yes, but it wasn't the Spirit's voice, rather, it was Noah's (2Pet 2:5)

The reason given for not contending with people forever is that people don't live
forever. In other words: the time for folks to listen to preaching is now; before a
Flood, viz: before something takes them away of a sudden.

The reason man is mortal is because of sin.

Josiah has posted several long lists. They're already online for our benefit, so let's start there. Posts #8 and #19 of this thread would be good places to start.

There's also post #59 of the thread "REDEMPTION/ATONEMENT: Us vs. Them..." which was addessed to you in particular.

My point all along is that there has been good men and scholars on both sides as well both can muster up Scriptures to bolster their case on the topic....and the beat goes on. 🎶

Some sermons are convincing arguments on why preaching is a bad idea.

At the conclusion of the church's extraction per 1Thess 4:13-18, not one God-given
preacher will remain anywhere on Earth, so that those preachers who do remain,
will all be cheap goods: yet there will no doubt be numerous frightened
congregations all 'round the world looking to those very same incompetent quacks
for answers just the same as they did before the extraction.

Ken Peters dreamt in the 80s that there was a pastor who had not been right with God, so he wasn't raptured and he had a group of followers and for a few months they had revival and then they killed em all. The uncountable multitude gets saved during the tribulation, so there are good preachers needed for that. Don't forget the Jews.

Thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘In those days ten men from every language of the nations shall grasp the [k]sleeve of a Jewish man, saying, “Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.”

None of that kicks in right away. Prior to their activity there will doubtless
be a time of confusion and chaos at the conclusion of the church's extraction
depicted by 1Thess 4:13-18 when the only preachers left on Earth will be
quacks.

Now we're getting into a lot of guesswork with this topic, though.

Ken Peters saw it in the 80s and got saved because of that dream.

While walking the streets one day, I met an elderly gentleman. Everyone else was in despair but this man was friendly looking. I asked him if he knew what was going on in the world? •

He told me the end was coming and that he had not prepared for the time of the Lord. At this statement sadness filled his countenance. He said to me he had not been right with the Lord and began to tell me ◦ God’s plan for man’s salvation. He carefully pulled a small Bible from his back pocket and began to show me scriptures revealing my need for a Savior. My heart began to fill with joy as ▪ I asked Jesus Christ ▪ to forgive me for my sinful ways and ▪ to fill my heart! • This man had a small following of others who had accepted the message of Jesus Christ. Even though we were a small group, we began to make significant progress in spreading the gospel and meeting the physical needs of others. ◦ Our spreading the gospel seemed to work out in the most unusual ways. We could tell God was with us. This small band of Jesus followers had faith. This was completely abstract to my thinking that God would actually be involved in the everyday affairs of those who followed him faithfully.

My work with the "Evangelist man" continued to increase. Many so-called "Christians" were being changed by the power of the Gospel this man taught us. These backslidden Christians explained how they had once had a relationship with Jesus but became cold in their faith and fell away from a life of holy, passionate, pursuit of God. For a short period of time, many people came to Christ in total surrender. [ JER 16:19-21 ]

The Lord's people do Awesome Miracles worldwide for maybe 6 months.
The old Evangelist launched what he called the final all-out thrust, speaking the Word of God with reckless abandon. In pockets all over the earth, others began doing the same. I was able to see this awesome display of Almighty God’s power at work. I could see the Global scene in full demonstration of who Jesus was and just what He could do. I saw miracles everywhere. God’s people working miracles on a wholesale basis by all who were truly the Lord’s people. The difference was the real servants of God were able to do awesome miraculous works; creating miracles, including the dead raised to life, and healing after healing of incurable diseases. This was happening all over the world. It was as though Jesus himself was everywhere doing His work through ordinary people. Unbelievable miracles were now commonplace. [ JOE 2:23 ...he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month.] This great outpouring of God’s Spirit was tremendous and very widespread. Whole nations were being brought into the Kingdom of God. It only lasted a very short time. I was not clearly shown the time-frame, possibly six months. Then gross darkness once again began engulfing the minds of all who would not hear the message of hope. [ ^ Events surrounding this prophecy.] [ The "New Order" plan is revealed: Totally eliminate all Christians.
