Well, if you don't believe that I am honest, then thank you for your time. I have nothing else to discuss with you. It is pretty obvious that your attitude is not Christ-like.

Again, I don't believe you think it might be true. You claim you can never believe such a non-sensical belief system. Post #(17) Now you contradict yourself and say it might by true. I don't believe you.
One more thing. You seem to have a knack for accusing people of contradicting themselves, when , in fact, it's just a matter of you misunderstanding what they are saying.

It is quite possible to find something nonsensical and yet be open to the possibility that it might be true. And this is possible by pondering examples of the past. The idea that the Earth revolves around the Sun (presented from as early as the third century) seemed nonsensical to men of science before the 14th century, when Nicolaus Copernicus brought mathematical proof. It turned out they were wrong. Being aware of the possibility that I might be wrong is not a contradiction.

If I didn't want to believe, I would not have spent several years reading Scripture, watching sermons, reading Christian theology, and praying almost everyday.
From the discussion you and I had earlier, it appears instead that you were willing to accept basic Christian beliefs so long as you'd already reworked them or reinterpreted them to mean something other than what Christianity believes.

When confronted directly concerning the orthodox belief in the Trinity or the tenets of the Nicene Creed, you had to admit that you don't believe.

Perhaps you feel some regret over that, but it's still what you told us, so of course that's how we see the matter now.

And I don't. You're welcome. Actually I believe my attitude is very Christ-like.

Only when you contradict yourself. I didn't misunderstand at all.

You are not open to the possiblity that the Gospel is true. You have stated that very clearly. Post #(17)

Your comparison with science knowledge and the knowledge of God, given by the Holy Spirit in the Bible, is no comparison. All your comparaison proves is that you trust in the reason and wisdom of the world. Not that of God. You want to interpret the Christian faith by the worlds logic and reason. Hence your continual problems.
