That makes me tired just reading it

It made me quite tired hiking it, if it's any consolation. I need to get in better shape, normally I'd walk further and take in more climbing than that. I've got another route in mind that mostly takes in forest roads rather than trails (so I know what kind of terrain to expect - sometimes trails turn out to be much harder than expected due to surface issues, elevation gain, overgrown vegetation or trail markers just disappearing completely). Anyway this other route is a little over 30 miles and at a guess takes in the equivalent of 4-500 floors of climbing. So in Fitbit terms that's probably going to be 60,000 steps and maybe 500 floors.

Maybe I'll get to walk that over the summer, but probably need a few more intermediate hikes first. There are a few routes I know reasonably well that take in 15-20 miles and only go up and over one mountain ridge :)

Well well.

I see there are some 26 members who have visited in the last 24 hours. That's more than I've seen on any given day for months. Must be a holiday or something. :p

You know what one of my old pastors would have called y'all?

Cheesters. In case you're not familiar with the term, that means those people who show up to church on Christmas and Easter - only. Not that this is a church, exactly...

But a Deist is one of the ones holding the fort.

Just saying :p

Psst - In case this is taken the wrong way - I don't attend church...so I'm not trying to one up anyone if you're the spiritually competitive type *wink* *wink*

Now I want to experiment with my broken Fitbit. I think I can score huge numbers of steps if I strip it down to the bare bones and attach it to the pendulum on one of my clocks. Maybe 100,000 steps in a day is achievable.

Oh - my - gosh.

Just looking through my "who you may know list" and spotted a new person with no connection to any of my connected friends. So I'm browsing through her profile, and decide to look at her friends list, which is displayed. Just browsing through faces...and then I see...

him

an old man - maybe in his 80's or 90's wearing a female's blouse. Under his name is the subtitle - "Sperm Dumpster at Sperm". Should I check out his profile? Should I risk unspeakable horrors to my eyes to satisfy my curiosity?

Edit: Correction of title...the reality was worse.

Oh boy. Got home from work and had to scramble to find hotel rooms for some upcoming trips after realizing that the nearest ones to my destination were already sold out. Yikes. Okay, so I ended up 50 minutes away and I guess that's not too bad.
