Thank you for the welcome, Stravinsk. Sorry you had troubles there too.

Is that an Australian flag? I have visited there, in Queensland. Lovely country.

YAY!! I'm really excited you're back here!! :tea:

Will you just give it up? This is utterly pathetic.

Give what up? You think I'm talking about you or something? Well, you are wrong - I refer to another.

The thing I speak of was a public discourse, and even though it can be erased from that particular MB, I web archived it, so the evidence isn't going away.

Are tires expensive for motorcycles?

I got a great deal on line for $80. This tire averages about twice that.

Sigh

Too many peeps on social media that I can't "like" or comment on their thoughts or photos, for some reason.

Someone I was once close to uploaded a gorgeous photo of herself, and I can't even "like" it.

Oh well, on the remote chance she knows I post here:

N.O.E. - Gorgeous photo. Hope you are well.

Aw, sorry to hear you feel so alienated. I hope your friend knows how much you care.

She was a good friend, once. Kid gloves. I shouldn't say anything more.

Busy day yesterday, went to a show to shift some of our stuff. A bit slow, but we made out just about OK. Got a good lead on another market that could be very good for us, and a most definite "in" because the lady who recommended it knows the owners personally and will recommend us to them. Which is nice.

Today we had lunch with the church secretary and her husband. We're starting to settle in a church now, and getting to know people. This lady likes people to be real and likes to think a lot, but I think I still managed to make her head hurt :)

IJWTS - in the nicest way possible -

No.

Sigh, and the rest of it I can't say publicly. There are definitely disadvantages to using this name. She is far too nice for me to do that. But it should be clear enough now that we have opposite ideals in a few key places, and I'm flattered in a way, given our difference in age, but I'm not going to change for you. You need to find someone else if those are your goals. It's time for me to stop flirting, too.

Got a reasonably good walk in today. A little under 12 miles according to the GPS. My Fitbit reported 22,000 steps and 246 floors. The challenge to get 500 floors in a day is going to be extreme. This walk took me a whisker over four hours including rest stops, so to get 500 floors in a day I'm going to be looking at hiking for 8 hours or more. It looks like the highest daily badge is for 700 floors or more, which would mean 12+ hours of hiking. Probably more than that, given rest stops would have to become longer and more frequent at that level of exertion.

It does mean I'm going to get the Skydiver badge (for 1000 lifetime floors) less than three weeks after getting my Fitbit. Which is nice.

Hiking from the state park to the top of the mountain is 127 floors. Sadly the other side of the mountain is only 108 floors so I had to find another hill top gain some extra floors. A short walk around town and general stair climbing in the house took me to 257 floors for the day, making a little over 900 floors in two weeks.
