How many times has the world been predicted to end according to Bible prophecy?

Why do some people continue to believe in these predictions despite them not coming true?
By focusing on the future, religious leaders can ignore the beast that prophecy says has been corrupting the Church since the beginning. I've sat in Churches numerous times listening to nonsensical theology that cannot be proven from scripture, and heard Christians mesmerized with shouts of "Amen" and "Come Lord Jesus" in response. Christians are taught to watch for the end times with the Antichrist, Rapture and Tribulation (ART) so that you don't focus on the beast and the Mother of All Prostitutes that are in the Church now! Think about it, if there is a "Mother of All Prostitutes" in the Church, there must be a nest of prostitutes present in it too.

People will die and find out the truth about Jesus--this is what they should focus on--preparing for their eternity rather than focusing on the end times. Besides, the end time is not what has been represented. Revelation claims that during the last days, there won't be much of a Church left--as it is located in a camp surrounded by Satan and his followers that number like the sand in the sea (Revelation 20:8-9). According to Daniel and Revelation we still have about 300 years to go until we get there, so we can stop watching and waiting for the end of times--at least for now.

I'm having trouble understanding that 300 years thing in relation to Revelation 20:8-9, especially in light of Revelation 20:7

Could you explain this in more depth to make it clear?

The vision of the Ram and the Goat describe the entire New Covenant of Jesus. This visions corresponds and connects directly to Nebuchadnezzar's vision of the statue, and in Revelation the seven seals followed by the seven angels. In addition, the transformation of the woman starting in Revelation chapter twelve and continuing through Chapter sixteen of Revelation describe the full hour of the New Covenant.

In his vision, Daniel hears a conversation from holy ones about how long the New Covenant of Jesus with a corrupted Church will last:

13 Then I heard a holy one speaking; and another holy one said to that certain one who spoke, “How long will the vision about the continual burnt offering, and the disobedience that makes desolate, to give both the sanctuary and the army to be trodden under foot be?” 14 He said to me, “To two thousand and three hundred evenings and mornings. Then the sanctuary will be cleansed.” (Daniel 8:13-14)

Daniel’s whole vision of the ram and goat addressed the continual burnt offering requirements of the Law and how Jesus’ sacrifice was prophesied to replace it.

The Kingdoms of Bronze and Iron are not fully dedicated to Jesus and their worship is tainted—they follow theology rather than the word of God so Jesus as the temple is desolate and “trodden under foot.” The temple of Jesus will not be cleansed until the arrival of the eternal Kingdom of God. The holy ones tell the world through Daniel that the sanctuary will be corrupted for 2,300 evenings and mornings. This cannot be a reference to days, so it must be a reference to years.

The last days will be 2,300 years after the Kingdom of God through Jesus first became corrupted by false teachers. From Revelation 12:14-16, it was revealed that the Church of Jesus Christ was taken over very quickly by false teachers. The disciples were protected for about 3-1/2 years after Jesus’ sacrifice and this correlates to approximately 33 AD. After this protection the persecution and executions of the disciples and followers of Jesus started. The spiritual battle for control of the word of God started and the temple of Jesus was ruled by false teachers.

The end of the New Covenant is therefore prophesied to occur 2,300 years after the disciple’s commissioning of the Church in approximately 33 AD.

This is the prophecy in a nutshell and all prophecy validates the same story. The Church became corrupted immediately after the disciples commissioned the start-up of it, and the corruption is still present today. John validated the corruption through 1 John 2:18-19, but you won't hear this interpretation of that verse. Jesus warned his eyewitnesses during the Olivet Discourse to watch out for being led astray, and they were--the disciples appointed a bunch of slick pretenders to take over the Church from them--the founders of the Catholic Church. All--not some-prophecy in Daniel and Revelation validate this.

Daniel 9:24-27 explain the details of Jesus mission and tell of the corruption of the Church throughout the entire New Covenant. Revelation 8:1 is one of the most important prophetic verses because it explains the transition from the Bronze to the Iron/Clay Kingdom and the return of Jesus.

I realize I provided some background information but didn't address the connection to Revelation 20:8-9. The New Covenant will last one hour per God's timing. Jesus told the woman that his hour had not yet come--this was a reference to the One Hour of the New Covenant. The first six seals describe the Kingdom of Bronze--the reign of the Catholic Church, then the seventh seal describes the transition to the Iron/Clay Kingdom. The first four angels describe the Iron/Clay Kingdom that corresponds to the return of Jesus for 1,000 years, then the last three angels describe the last days and judgment--the final woe. The last three angels describe the final days battle like that addressed in Revelation 20:8-9.

What you have is the book of Revelation is split into two complete descriptions of the New Covenant of Jesus with different details. Chapters 1-11 of Revelation take readers through the Church at the beginning through the entire New Covenant and include a description of what God wanted the Church to be, then Chapter 12 starts from the beginning of the New Covenant to provide additional details of the Bronze and Iron/Clay Kingdoms. Ove the next 300 years the Church will continue to degrade and by the last days there will only be a few Christians left--the world will be full of Satan lovers and the end will come. This is not the ART theology spread throughout the Church.

So what of the part about after a thousand years (generally called the millennium from what I understand, when Jesus rules) Satan being unleashed? Are you suggesting we are already 700 years into it?

I'm not fitting this all together so I can make sense of it.

Yes, we are 700 years into it. Revelation 8:1 describes the transition to the Iron/Clay Kingdom which describes the present day Church.

Returning to Revelation 8:1, the seventh seal, together with the 2,300 years of the New Covenant from Daniel 8:13-14, I find the following:

The Kingdom of Iron equals 1,000 years and this equals 26 minutes (1,000 years/2,300 year x 60 minutes = 26 minutes)
The Kingdom of Bronze is 1,300 years and this equals thirty-four minutes of God’ time (1,300 years/2,300 years x 60 minutes = 34 minutes)

This confirms that each portion of the hour of Jesus—the New Covenant, are “about half an hour” and this fulfills Revelation 8:1. This is great, but can I calculate when the Bronze and Iron/Clay transition occurred? Earlier I calculated that from Daniel 8:13-14 the last days will be in 2,333 AD. Considering that the Iron/Clay Kingdom is just before the last days, if I know the length of time of the last days, I can calculate the exact transition of the Bronze Kingdom to the Iron/Clay Kingdom. To determine the details about the last days, I need to return to chapter eight of Revelation to find out what happens during and after the Iron/Clay Kingdom.

The prayers coming from the Kingdom of God during the Iron/Clay Kingdom will be rejected by God:

2 Another angel came and stood over the altar, having a golden censer. Much incense was given to him, that he should add it to the prayers of all the saints on the golden altar which was before the throne. 4 The smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, went up before God out of the angel’s hand. 5 The angel took the censer, and he filled it with the fire of the altar, then threw it on the earth. Thunders, sounds, lightnings, and an earthquake followed. (Revelation 8:2-5)

Why were the prayers of God’s people prophesied to be rejected by God and returned in anger? The seven angels pouring out the wrath of God explain why (Revelation 8:6-10:8), ending with a little book. The announcements by the seven angels through trumpets describe the ongoing spiritual battle that will continue through the Iron/Clay Kingdom. The Gospel may be free and people will have a choice for worship of Jesus, but there will not be peace in the Kingdom of God called the Church.
