Congratulations to Team 1! I will be PMing members sometime later.

The CH Challenge has ended and soon I will be deleting the CH Challenge points. They should no longer be adding anything when you post as I have made them inactive.

I have sent out the PMs. I only wrote to those who had 1 point or more in the CH Challenge since the others on the team did not participate.

I have given the team 1 week (until Thursday, September 27 at midnight Eastern standard time) to respond with a nomination.

One poster in Team 1 posted about the same as all of Team 3 put together, and 2/3's of all the posts for Team 1. In fact, more than 1/4th of ALL the posts of ALL the teams was by this one poster. Seems to ME, he's the one who deserves the praise.

Lamm, you clearly had a goal in mind for this event.... do you feel that goal was met? I hope so.

Thanks!

Help for Puerto Rico hurricane victims is still desperately needed. I's like to see a donation to All Hands Volunteers They have an A+ rating from Charity watch, and spend $3/$100 on fund raising - which is much lower than for most other charities.

Another excellent choice for helping the people in Puerto Rico is United Methodist Committee on Relief they spend $1/$100 on fund raising which is the lowest I've seen.

No, the one who is generous is Lamm, she has volunteered to donate to a charity for the help of others - like in Matthew 25:31-46 - while writing posts doesn't work the same kind of good for "the least of these" who are Christ's brethren.

I didn't post about generosity but about post counts.... noting your profound accomplishment and impact!

Yes, Lamm is generous in donating to a charity, and we are ALL grateful and appreciative for that! I hope whatever goal she had for all this was realized!

My goals...

1) to have us work together to benefit a charity
2) to become a community in working together even if it's within teams

I think we've achieved both goals.

Both goals are what I wanted from early on in CH's infancy. I had posted a few times asking for ideas of how we could donate as a site to help charities but nothing came of it so this was kind of a forceful way but still worked out in the end :)

Here is the thread I was thinking about http://christianityhaven.com/showthread.php?646-Ministry-or-Cause&highlight=charity

Could be, I suppose. That's one of the goals you mentioned above, but its not the one I commented on. :)
