Gods sabbeth not ours not the Jews

Since the faithful are in Christ his Sabbath is theirs; a different day. One that lsts forever. Hebrews 4:1-8 Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. 2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. 3 For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. 4 For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works. 5 And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest. 6 Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief: 7 Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts. 8 For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.

That probably explains why you have not entered in Sabbath keeping with the Lord of the Sabbath.

I cannot keep the Sabbath, nor can you. Christ can.

Yes you can, you just don't understand the halacha of it.

What on earth is "halacha"? Is there an English word for it? If there is why not use it?

Because the more you learn the more you will understand. I posted the understanding of the term "halacha" in another thread just for those who don't know the term. For you is it the "loosing and binding" key that Peter was given. Not as RCC teaches. It gives Peter and the disciples authority to tell the gentiles what are the minimum requirements necessary to come to the synagogue and learn about Moses with the rest of the believers in Acts 15.

If it is not as the Catholic Church teaches then it is not "for me". It's according to somebody else.

It is more of a protective fence like the ten commandments. A place of freedom outside of which is much wickedness.

Surely you have read, seen, heard about the carrying on going on under the robes of your priests... they have been exposed so that the world can see just how wicked it is at its core.

My faith is in Jesus Christ not in priests. I respect my parish priest because he is an elder in God's church but I do not have religious faith in him. Surely you would not abandon the faith because a pastor or other leader in your meeting behaved badly?

Just because I mentioned the physical sins, doesn't mean it stops there. The lies and corruption of scripture goes to the core of RCC faith.

From my perspective the corruption and error lies in the systems of belief that your meetings practise.

Whatever you choose to believe, it is obvious that you blindly follow the church
