Suggest a movie, and give your reasons for suggesting it.

Movie I'm currently watching: Frozen (2010) - about 3 skiers who get stranded on a chair lift after hours. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1323045/

I suggest this movie because even though this is the second time I've watched it, it's scaring me again. It's scripted well, the characters are believable and likeable and easy to empathize with. The story is plausible - it's easy to imagine this could actually happen.

I'd like to suggest the Truman Show for those who haven't seen it. That movie made me paranoid to a degree LOL The movie is about an insurance salesman/adjuster discovers his entire life is actually a television show.

Rob Roy

One of my favorite movies of all time. Reasons for suggesting it:

A) Again, the characters are believable - human - a mixture of sin and virtue, strength and weakness. The hero's are not sinless, just as the villains not without humanity.
B) I love the relationship that is portrayed by Rob and his wife. It is imperfect, but authentic. They fight, they have issues, they understand one another, they sacrifice for each other and love one another deeply.
C) The various themes that are emphasized and displayed through various characters.

A Simple Plan (1998)

An entertaining film that deals with the real temptations of people who would readily claim a moral position in theory only to compromise that in fact - and the consequences of that compromise.

Not surprising and predictable - but satisfying nonetheless - as the moral of the story is played out quite well.

I saw Sing on Netflix the other day and it was really cute. Of course I love to sing so it got my attention and I enjoy family movies because I can trust that they won't have a lot of vulgarity, swearing, violence, etc...

Despicable me, because it was fun and 3D and the boss baby for the same reasons. Take kids w you so they don't think you're immature and want to watch it yourself.

It's not a horror film as it's touted. But it will scare you. Better if you don't know anything about it and better if you don't watch the trailer.

The Red Pill (Cassie Jaye) 2017

If you want to understand why more and more men are giving up on marriage in western society and even serious relationships with women - this doco illustrates part of the reasons.
