Lazy afternoon. I got precisely none of the items on my to-do list done and ended up sleeping in my recliner for nearly an hour. It's been a while since I did that mid-afternoon.
One thing I did get done, which took more time to gather up the tool and battery than to do the work, was to put a few pins to secure a couple of pieces of wood trim on my porch. I cut holes in the wood to trace studs and cables and a couple of pieces of wood started to sag under their own weight. Now they are pinned to the beam inside the porch. The next job there is to cut off some old cables, poke the ends through a hole in the wall, then fill the hole with cement. Filling the hole with cement when the only access I have is through a couple of small holes will be interesting. Then I can run some new cables, put some proper back boxes in place to support replacement LED lights, and put the original trim back up.
