Happy Friday all! How are you? Today, just relaxing online before heading the sack tonight.

A reflective Good Friday to you all. I worked tonight, so I couldn't attend Good Friday services, but part of my reflection was about the incredible amount of physical, mental and emotional abuse Our Lord endured when He was being mocked by His own people, then beaten, flogged and crucified by the Romans. An ordinary man probably would have simply been beaten to death, but not Jesus. No, He gave up His Life on His own terms. He declared Victory when He was ready and not an instant before or after. It was time for Him to proclaim victory to the dead and harry Hell.

Just finished watching Risen, its a fictional history story that throws a Roman soldier into the mix with the disciples but it was rather decent in my opinion
