So... What are YOU doing? - Part 8

Some of the notifications that bother me are the push ones where messages come through from some apps (like my weather app) that I don't want to show up.

Some of them are downright annoying. Something I find increasingly tedious is the way every single app and web site seems to want to send me notifications. Do they really think I can't cope without them telling me every single time they post something? Facebook is the worst - the last thing I need is to find that my phone is constantly beeping at me because someone liked my post or tagged me in a picture or something.

The only active notification I've got from my weather app was a few weeks ago when my phone made a sound I'd never heard it make before. It turned out my weather app was telling me of a tornado watch - apparently there was a storm "with rotation", "capable of producing a tornado" about 10 miles from my house and headed straight for it. I was thankful to get that one, even though the storm blew over producing nothing more than torrential rain for a few minutes.

Howdy morning all! How are you? Today, I’ve just taken a shower and a hair wash. Tonight, just making a new style for my own board before lulling myself to sleep.

I like very few notifications and the ones I do want, I don't want a tone for but vibration on both my phone and watch. Not only with changing my phone, there was a major phone update and a watch update. I finally got everything back to where I wanted them.

I got the fiberglass pulled out from around three more windows, and replaced with spray foam. It turned out the guy who fitted the windows did use sealant around the window frames - it's probably the only corner he didn't cut - which made my job at least a little bit easier. The foam was past its prime so didn't spray as enthusiastically as it did when I first opened the can but with a few rounds of pressing the nozzle hard into an acetone-soaked paper towel and opening it I managed to get it to spray enough to fill the gaps. Not ideal but it beats throwing away most of a can of foam. What's left is still more than I'm thrilled about dumping but at least I got five windows out of it.

I also took the chance to clean up some brick dust from another room, since I was moving the shop vac and separator around, that's been bothering me for a while.

It's grocery shopping day! I saw pumpkin rolls on sale and am thinking of getting one if they have any left in stock. I could make my own but the recipe makes 2 and I'm not sure I want that much temptation in the house LOL

I was going to see two clients today, but had a flat after I saw the first one and had to cancel second appointment. One of my coworkers was able to see that client though

Hello morning all! How’s it going so far with your day? This morning, I’ve just had my usual 3 hours weekly therapy session by phone and online. The afternoon, I’m just way too exhausted to do anything else but rest in bed before heading the sack tonight.

Church today, then went for a fast walk/run before meeting friends at our favorite brewpub for dinner. They had a band playing which added to the afternoon.
