My man came to look at the work I need done. Doesn't seem phased, looks like he can probably fit me in next week. That will be good, I could really use getting a big win in the house because it feels like it's really dragging. If I like the guy's work (which seems likely, given who recommended him), I'll see if he can help me with some other stuff around the house that could push the limits of my skills. If nothing else it means I can get stuff done much faster, which will be nice in itself. It means bringing forward a lot of expense, which in turn means a few seriously ugly credit card bills, but if the only difference in the total bill is paying this guy for some of his time I think it will be money well spent.
