My clock is back in the case, dial and hands replaced and is keeping good time. If it runs for the next several days it goes back to the owner
I carry a pocket watch, I like the look and feel of them. It is not mechanical, at least not entirely, but it is pretty. I usually leave my mobile-phone on my desk and ignore it almost totally. It's more of a sms tool than a phone for me. making phone calls has become a less attractive thing since land lines became unpopular. Mobiles usually have lower quality call sound fidelity and they are clumsy devices. Sometimes I hanker after a dial phone
It was with a man I have known for 45 years. We reconnected through FB. He came over and we had Chinese and listened to some music. It was a real nice time. He also brought me an apple pie!! He is a real sweetie!
