Strav, how big is your yard for mowing?

Not huge for a suburbia/semi rural block - but large enough to be a pain - especially with as much rain as we've had in the last few months. I spent 45 minutes a week or so ago just doing maybe half of it.

We are close to frost so it is time to let it go long and quit mowing

Summer is coming in Oz, long grass is a bad idea with the heat of summer arrives and fires are a risk.

Sounds like a decent size. We have an acre and my husband has to use a lawn tractor and it takes about an hour and a half.

Filming my son who's swimming, so I thought. Hey wait that's a ponytail. That's not my son. I need glasses.

Have successfully powderfied raisins. The raisins I bought had vegetable oil added to them, so I figure this is the reason they were difficult to dehydrate completely. So I boiled them up first, took the pulp and spread on the dehydrator, and boiled down the rest into syrup. Then once the pulp was dry added to the freezer for 24 hours. I added a bit of tapioca starch to the blender and blended. Mostly powder, a few clumps. Added more tapioca starch - this was a mistake. It got more clumpy. Ok, good to know for next time.

I can get them here for free, our version of Obamacare pays it all, but it's too much effort and my cute kids ruined the last glasses I bought.

Same here, for prescription glasses but the cheap reading-glasses from China cost $1.00 delivered :)

Um, don't taxes pay it all? If so, you do (collectively) pay it. *Scratches head...

My friend who got banned from christian chat forums talked to the mods there to explain stuff and may come back. He asked if he should ask for me too, since I got banned because of complaining about his ban in public, but I don't want to get him into trouble, so I just sent them an email myself and said sorry I went against the mod's decisions in public, lol, excuse me, I'm Dutch, we just throw it in your face in public, regardless if you're a king or a cleaner, but since you don't do that and those are your rules, I apologize. I don't care if I can go back or not, just had to apologize anyway. I was way too addicted, I was glad I got a ban.

I'm waking up and planning my day. Moving furniture back into the rooms that have dried from cleaning carpets. Isn't that fun?
