I'm on Facebook and I see a meme about Hurricane Matthew. A reporter asks the hurricane, "Hey, Matthew, now that you're a major Hurricane, what're you gonna do next?"

The hurricane responds, "I'm going to Disney World!"



It might be too early for bad jokes like that! One of my daughter's best friends is an intern at Disney World and I haven't seen her post on Facebook in 11 hours. I'm a little concerned.

Shampooing carpets...still. I have to wait though for some areas to dry so I can move things around.

Yep, plus I have a cold or a virus that is dragging me down. I haven't gotten sick in a long time. I'm doing okay with it now but I have to get better for Sunday because I'm singing.

Just off work. Covered night shift for someone, and relaxing at the moment.

Interesting night. Around 3am, 3 20-somethings came in (2 girls and a guy) and off the cuff invited me over to their place. Just told me where they live. I've seen one of them before, she's a local, obviously.

Me - somewhat taken aback "Uh - I'm working"

"Oh just put a sign on the door that you'll be back in 10 minutes. We can have a few beers"

"heh. No - but if you want to bring me by a beer I won't object"

That was sort of nice, I guess. Not sure what to think of people who think I can just up and leave my job for an indefinite time while a sign is up. Not sure what to think of people that would invite me over to their residence who I don't know except as vaguely familiar customers.

Doing nothing. Kids don't want to go outside and I'm too lazy to take the train to grandma. Luckily they have new stuff to play with.

we went for a long early morning walk today. covered around 3 miles. its good, because sometimes its healthy to break free from being connected all day. the birds chirping, a cat needed his back scratched and the overhead roar of the blue angels practicing for fleet week

Because it's all of a sudden cold at night now I put the bunny cage inside, with a fence next to it so they can go to the balcony if they want to but not hop through my house. Hop hop hop there walks the tiny guinea pig again to the sleeping room. He's so tiny, he just walks past it.

I'm watching stupid, scary movies! LOL

I avoid scary films nowadays. I prefer old films and some sci-fi films. stuff that doesn't scare me
