Doesn't it seem like every year there is some sort of virus or illness to fear? Monkeypox is what's next. The vaccine was approved in 2019 strangely enough and one treatment approved in 2022 but neither is widely available...yet.

That's interesting. Fact Checkers from 2021 don't deny that the vaccine contains the virus that normally would cause monkeypox in Chimpanzees.

On some other sites people brought up the news about the lady who helped catch some loose monkeys on a highway:

I heard that you need to have extensive close contact with the infected animal/person to catch it. This virus isn't as easy to catch as Covid and unlike Covid, this virus cannot be passed on to others while asymptomatic.

That's somewhat reassuring, all right. But when the first vaxxes for the coronavirus were being arranged, most people believed the medical authorities and so lined up to receive their injections. They also thought these shots were real vaccinations like the ones they'd received as children.

Now, several years later, the public knows that the authorities have changed their story back and forth and wound up saying the disease will probably be with us no matter what is done, that there will no doubt be newer variants coming along, and, well, you can get booster shots every few months indefinitely if you want them.

With that in mind, we have to wonder if the majority of our people are now going to choose to be jabbed because of...monkeypox!!

The narrative of the health authority where I work is quietly changing, too. One of the corp[orate screen savers the other day was encouraging us to keep taking precautions to "stay immunized". Immunized??:unsure: Wasn't there a big kerfuffle with a famous football player a few months ago over this very word? Now our health authorities are peddling it.
I'll be awaiting the news of how many shots are required.

Meh.

That just about sums up my thoughts on just about anything we're told to be afraid of these days.

As I said to one of our neighbors in the early days of the coronavirus, it's not like any of us are getting out of this alive. The death rate has been pretty consistent since the dawn of time - one per person.

I am afraid the press is a huge detriment to national security. Abolish the main stream media! How? Everybody just has to quit listening to it and get their news from a variety of sources that are not bought out by the left.

Monkey pox: Comes from Africa.

Africans couldn't leave those monkeys alone.

Now, America is run by Ham. Africa. No blessing. Just a curse.

It will be interesting to see how 'monkey pox' spreads in America.

A people can turn themselves over to Africa politically. But you can't change God and His will.
