1. You are WAY off topic. You are hijacking this topic. If you want to discuss if Jesus is the Savior or you are, start a thread on that.
2. I disagree with your condemnation of the Gospel. I believe that Jesus is the Savior. Thus, you are not. Paul is not. I believe we are saved by the Savior and that He did not mess it up and we gotta fix it by what we do. No Scripture teaches, "Jesus came to be the Savior but failed and now is not capable of saving anyone, BUT if YOU will just do x,y,z (good enough) then you can do the job yourself." Nope. Try answering this simple question: WHO is the Savior? IF you answer "Jesus" then Jesus is the Savior. Not you - not a bit, not at all, not now, not ever, not in any way or shape or form or manner. Salvation is entirely, wholly wrapped up in Jesus. It's entirely HIS work. HIS heart. HIS love. HIS mercy. HIS gift. HIS blessing. His life, His death, His resurrection. His Cross, His blood, His sacrifice. His righteousness, His obedience, His holiness. Not you. Not yours. You may have some other role in some other matter, but not this. The "job" of Savior belongs to Jesus. Not you. IF you answer "ME!" then you are the Savior. Not Jesus. Not a bit, not at all. Not now, not ever. Not in any way, shape or form or manner. Salvation is all wrapped up in YOU. YOUR works. YOUR will. YOUR love. YOUR efforts. YOUR merits. YOUR obedience. YOUR righteousness. YOUR holiness. YOUR sacrifice. Not Jesus. Not Jesus'. Jesus may have some other role in some other matter, just not this one. The Savior is you. Give the biblical, Christian answer and your synergistic heresy will vanish. Now, of course, once saved - the CHRISTIAN has MUCH to do! But that's not to BE saved but because he/she IS saved. And yes, one who IS saved can fall from that, but that's something only a CHRISTIAN who is saved can do. But again, start a different thread: "Did Jesus Fail as the SAVIOR?" You can present your "failed Jesus" view, you "self saves self by doing x,y,z - forget all that Christian stuff about Jesus."
Back to the issue: Is 1 John 2:2 correct or the as yet not-shared verse that states Jesus actually didn't do that but ONLY died for SOME.
