Why? Do you think the outcome would be any different because of the bullying from the liberals who didn't like what happened in the results?

On my Facebook I had to unfollow some people who were name calling anyone who voted Trump. They said very horrible things and some even made threats.

The election is over. The ballots cast. A winner declared.

Would you have the Cubs and Indians replay their baseball game because the outcome wasn't as expected by some?

Call an honest election where one vote has the same value no matter where it is cast.

But that's done in your country.

If in the next election the government chooses to change the way it votes then the campaigning will also be changed to match what is needed to gain the votes in the bigger cities and the rural areas will be ignored. I am not really for the electoral college as I've always stated on this site but we can't change the way it's done AFTER an election! That's ludicrous.

Yes, let's have big cities choose our president, while everyone else has their interests discounted. I mean, what works in NYC, L.A., and Chicago surely must work for all of Michigan and Wisconsin combined.

Cities do not vote. People vote. So let's have the majority elect the president. Good move!

Naaah...let's let fewer people spread out over large rural areas choose what's best for more people living in urban areas...that makes perfect sense.

Such is the argument put up by every anti-democratic despot.

A slate of electors decide the vote. Take that away, and it's mob rule. Pockets of Democratic or Republican strongholds should not be able to sway an election.

Indeed...every argument I've seen in favor of this system fails, at least for me.
